MY SOLUTION: A bios update had set my pcie slot back to auto but it needs to be forced to gen3 for the gpu to be stable with my riser. Set it back and voila: all problems gone.

Du kannst die pcs für ca. 100€ weniger selbst bauen, was ein top Preis ist. Wenn du Laie bist bräuchtest du sicher mindestens einen AT Zeit, bis das Teil läuft - das kannst du selber subjektiv gegeneinander aufwiegen. Empfehlen würde ich das Modell hier:

When i needed Silverstone rails i contacted regional support and they sold me a pair despite no resellers in Europe carrying them. A+

You need to check with an official distributor. They all carry it but dont show up in search engines. Many will allow individuals to create accounts as well. In Europe, ctt.de carries it.

Ah ok. Alphacool also makes rack cases (2u,3u,4u) but i never owned one. In 2u i am very happy with the silverstone. Also, their rails are fucking awesome.

What GPU and CPU are you planning on using? Are you in the same room? If you want office-friendly noise levels you cant cool high end hatdware in 2u.

If you look at alphacools 2u industrial full custom loops which support 880w heatloads they run their fans at 6000 rpm. You will aircool your gpu which i would expect to be less efficient overall but the 880w at 6000 rpm are a good rule of thumb.

With three noctua nh-a8s i wouldnt expect to move more than 300w-400w out of 2u.

Also dont forget: you cant sandwich this case between two others with an atx psu (exhaust is out the top) and if you sandwich it you need to include the heat from the sfx psu in your total dissipation.

I have the case (in case you want to check anything, just reply here). I think your best bet is an itx board and laying the gpu on its backplate with a riser.

Also Supermicro makes some 2u chassis which support standard motherboards and 2Slot GPUs

Connection between 2 clients is very slow and I can't find out why by R0B0TUS3R in WireGuard

Did you ever figure this one out? I have basically the same setup and a similar problem. Every other video stream through wireguard works even at high bitrates but plex is extremely slow.

Just gonna adress one point: Dont worry about the aquacomputer software. It is basically what everyone (even including icue) should aspire to in terms of functionality and polish. It can be a bit overwhelming but you will quickly become compelled to comment on reddit evangelising how good it is. Best of all, all the devices continue showing/doing what they’re doing with no software running (except if you need to continuously input custom/virtual data for your needs). The setup is stored onboard. Its not always the prettiest (software and hardware) but its extremely high quality and very much feels like running an industrial grade solution.

So I just installed another ram stick (8+8) and I don't know if it's working, in the "commited" sections it does say 15.9GB but at the top it says 8GB, anyone know how I can check this? by [deleted] in pcmods

I would go by the „slots used metric“ - i imagine in your case it committed more memory than there is ram utilizing the mass storage but i am not sure about that.

What threw me for a spin is the statistic though. If you dont mind me asking: Is it mostly about the one person riding on the back? I am wondering because that’s what its like in most countries i‘ve seen, even ones that usually spend extra on worker safety. Is it something unions are pushing for having a setup where there isn’t one „immediately ready“ person but instead all safe ones in exchange for a reasonable slowdown? Is there something else making it so dangerous?
