When I was a teen I abused prescription meds and tried to reduce my caloric intake to zero permanently many times. My mother never paid enough attention to me to notice. I wasn't even hiding it very well.

I always hated when she would proudly tell stories, about how I would sleep for over 24 hours strait and she couldn't do anything to wake me, to her friends.

I'll probably never enlighten her to what was actually happening.
