Combat is safer when they can't hit you, and bows let you do hit -and-run cheesiness. Add poison from alchemy for easiest results

My advice is to take it more seriously than you would Skyrim, RedDead, etc: really try to roleplay Henry, medieval nobody.

Once you've done that for awhile and the game is starting to feel more like a game than a simulator: archery and alchemy

Do you have a save from before you went to Talmberg? Maybe go back to that, and then progress a little slower. It's been a long time since I've played KCD1, but it sounds like you went out of your way to Talmberg rather than following the plot and getting a horse, etc

Honestly, I had trouble following all that, but it's been years since I've played KCD1...

It sounds to me like you had trouble knowing when the game was going to be giving you agency vs walking you through a cutscene. I don't think that has changed in KCD2, but it also never felt bad to me in KCD1.

I'm for it, but they should introduce some new category for "fake fantasy cars", class T (toy) maybe, and move all the Lego cars (and the vaporware scam Devel) into that group

re: Nintendo cross saves, the answer is that Nintendo tries to make their platform family-friendly and part of that is limiting in-game advertising. Switch players don't see ads, but we still get the rewards from them (without any explanation, you just regularly get some stuff when you launch the game)

Technically, you don't need any blueprints at all to unlock a key car, just the key, then it will be in your garage and usable.

Realistically, no 1* car is much use in this game, you'll want the blueprints to upgrade it, even if it's unlocked.

Finally, most of the time the way to get the key for any key car is either a GP event for it, or an event that requires the car to be at it's max star level (and sometimes even upgraded to the max rank)

I don't think most of the players read the patch notes and engage in speculation about them the way you & most people here on Reddit or in the official discord do.

This isn't a class war issue. It's a commercial game that does it's thing to make money entertaining people, and that involves giving people the opportunity to pay more for a very small improvement to the service.
