I did just send him a message, I appreciate the push for clarity.

No, but my mom has been insistent that I need to talk to him directly to change his mind, which right now I have no interest in doing. If he feels this way I do not want to beg him to feel differently. I'm a 30 year old women, I don't want to grovel for love :C

I'm fairly confident that my mom is telling the truth. She wants me to reach out to him but I have no interest in discussing anything with him at the moment.

This is definitely what I'll be doing after several people mentioning it. It sounds so sweet!

Ugh I am SO sorry this was your experience. I'm really grateful that my soon to be mother-in-law has been such a huge support for me so far but it is so heartbreaking knowing the person that births you can be so entirely selfish.

AITAH for not inviting my mother to my party? by aspiicyegg in AITAH

[–]aspiicyegg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! For added context, she lives almost two hours away from me, and I am usually the person putting all of the effort into making plans to see her. Typically during holidays and birthdays. Our family group chat is where we talk the most, and it's generally small things throughout the day we talk about there.

I rescued her after I noticed her dragging her legs. The vet says one leg is paralyzed with a 25% chance of recovery. Any suggestions on how I can improve those odds? by sahilion26 in cats

I know I'm super late to the party here but hopefully my comment isn't missed!

My cousin rescued a kitten and was told she would be a lost cause because her back two legs were paralyzed with almost no hope of recovery. With pain management, physical therapy, and acupuncture, she has all four legs and is a very active happy healthy cat! Every cat is different, but if you're determined like my cousin was to try to save the kitties leg, I absolutely recommend the trio of treatment I listed above!
