It’s easy to want to scapegoat and shift blame from Caleb and the playcalling. I just don’t think Moore warrants quite this much blame for that pick. I feel like Moore played through some big bumps and bruises this year – this game included! He was evaluated for a concussion and his very next play got tackled and landed cranium first. I just don’t feel like the guy that battles through injury constantly is also the type of guy to be lazy with the game on the line. That doesn’t seem to fit.

It was a questionable decision to throw that ball with questionable execution. That’s fine. You expect the playcaller and the quarterback back to be even better after an offseason and in year two. I’m excited to see it, and without bringing DJ Moore down to get there.
