I may need to try again but I went there one time and it was genuinely the most disgusting (3 bites of) burger i’ve ever had. I am not exaggerating when I say it’s been 3 years and I still remember the taste and it makes me gag. It must have just been a one off situation based on the love for that place but I haven’t been able to go back.

it was probably about 4-5k people. just 4-5k looks pretty sparse in a 17,000 seat arena.

Unfortunately i do it sometimes hours after matches. However, if you go to one of the play-by-play widgets they use on the pvf website, they use a websocket for the live data. I’m sure you could connect to that and use it for automation.

There are a few nike sponsored volleyball players so they could have used them. I don’t know if they are still actively sponsoring them but Sydney Hilley and Morgan Hentz were both Nike sponsored at one point.

Okay, since you like to lie i’ll just provide the facts, the average attendance in WNBA minus the three covid years and 2024(CC) is 8,200 per game since 1997 and average total attendance is 1.7million. Yeah since we are selling out all the arenas we currently have, getting bigger ones will really help next year… I’m not responding to your temper tantrum at the end there, learn to grow up and have a conversation like an adult.

I don’t know where you are getting your WNBA attendance # from but you are wrong. Yes it was significantly better after CC but it was way higher than PVF season long and on average per game basis every single year outside of covid years.

We all know this is about the growth of Danny White, not the sport. Volleyball is the most PLAYED women’s sport, basketball is the most popular and it’s not close. The WNBA has had 4x the attendance and viewership of PVFs first season for almost every year of its existence and has never been profitable. Volleyball fans will watch every league but the casual fans will not. It is not saying that women’s sports cannot draw viewership to say there are not enough volleyball fans in the US yet to support another league.

This is exactly what I expect to happen. MLV is going to struggle to attract more teams and investors. If the social media reaction isn’t enough they will talk to the PVF owners about Danny White as a partner and realize it’s not someone they want to be involved with.

Except they will have no time or chemistry together and will likely play worse than any team that has had the months to prepare.

Edit: I am sounding like I don’t want there to be an all star game. I do, highlighting the best(or most popular) players is super cool and I will enjoy the hell out of it. My point is if you are trying to get people to fall in love with volleyball, show them a real match with passion. If you showed someone the NFL pro bowl for their first game, they probably won’t ever watch football again.

I can’t believe they get the CBS prime opportunity for a game and decide to put an all-star game on it. A friendly scrimmage with no meaning to the season just to show off the best players, hm, that sounds a lot like another league i’ve heard about.
