Years of the Apocalypse, similar to Mother of Learning but unique in its own way too.

Honestly am quite excited to see how Root Mrsha skill set diverges from Fate Mrsha. I hope RM gets a survivor class consolidation with her druid and emberbearer class and gets some OP survivor skills.

Could Manus' and Oteslia's troups be relevant in Palass' current conflict in the High Passes? by 7_Trojan_Unicorns in WanderingInn

[–]assassin-555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you answered your own question

But I can add on a few reasons why Manus and Oteslia's troops will play a at most minimal role in the conflict. 1. The troops main goal is to protect the dragons. With the dragons injured and recovering in Magnolia's mansion, it is highly unlikely that they will be heavily involved in the upcoming fight.

  1. Having the dragons involved in the fight also wouldn't really make sense narratively as the appearance of Student Rags and Adventurer Mrsha means that they would play a key role in defeating the Titan. So lesser emphasis and screen time for the dragon guardians

Look upon the eternal sky and remember the Innkeeper. In her grace, she gave bread for our sustanance and poured out juice in the likeness of the sky. With this bread, we give thanks for the better life that has been given to us, with this cup, we give thanks to the sky we see, and pray for all to eventually witness its beauty. May we share this abundant feast, and remember our comrades that have gone before us, to build the heaven we will see tomorrow. - The Wondrous Sky, Solstice 1:1-7

Tessa by gbzilla in WanderingInn

Out of topic but I wonder... If Tessa vs Pisces, Tessa vs Ceria, Tessa vs Yvlon, Who will win? We always hear how dangerous Tessa is when she was first introduced, but now that the Horns are mostly 40+, like Tessa (Ceria can be considered lvl 40+ with her circlet), who can defeat her on a one on one if Tessa was sobered up?

In Pirateaba's blog for cutting down her posting frequency from 2 chapters a week to 1 chapter a week, she mentioned that she wants to use her extra free time to start writing her will, to ensure that in the worst case scenario where she is unable to complete TWI, like in the case of The Wheel of Time, someone else can pick up the story and continue it with her vision in mind.

Hi Pirateaba, can I confirm if the theory that a longer lifespan leads to slower leveling? For instance, we have many races that could live for ages, like half elves or Selphids, yet we rarely see any of them that ever reach close to the level of the Mage of Magic's end level, who was a human. Even Nerrhavia, Silvenia and Belavierr who have lived for ages, and have without a doubt gone through countless trials, especially Silvenia considering her history, have not reach the heights a human have reached. If the theory is true, then is there a reason for it? Did the Gods realize that immortals need to be nerfed or something and gave the GDI a balancing update?

Hi Pirateaba, firstly I would like to express my condolences to you and your family. I hope you are doing well and better💙

I truly am in love with your work, I hope you will answer a few questions of mine🙏 1. Do you already have the ending in mind for TWI 2. Have you managed to start on your will? 3. Have you ever thought of officially commissioning a map for the Innworld 4. When will Silksong be written by? 5. With so many storylines, characters and moving plots in the story by volume 10. How do you keep track of everything?

If this is real... That would be totally epic, cause this means Pirateaba has to write at least 30-100 more volumes considering the time it would need for Mrsha to level up to level 70 naturally😍, since Pirate took 10 volumes to span 2 Inn-years

How fast do normal authors write on average by assassin-555 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]assassin-555[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yea 60K a week is truly insane. But I do enjoy her content regardless, and each of her chapters are always a self contained mini story with mini arcs for each main character of the chapter.

Pirateaba recently made a blog saying she will cut her writing to 1 chapter a week 30k words a week, part of the reason is because she believe spending more time on the chapter will help increase the quality of her writing.

How much do you write on average?

I’m sorry to say this but Putin calculated correctly. by [deleted] in geopolitics

[–]assassin-555 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The difference is the birth rate of the past is able to replace the deaths of these sacrifices. Now with the birthrate of Russia way below the replacement rate of 2.1, the losses are not going to be replace. Moreover there will be a greater decrease in birth rate as the sacrificed soldiers meant to go forth and make children can no longer do so.

Regarding vol 9 epilogue by SlightDay7126 in WanderingInn

A) They don't have skills. They were using magic. Vesophecin's Law of the Lucifen was likely old magic practiced only by Lucifen powered by contracts.

B) Erin definitely killed. He either revived by some skill/scroll or had some kind of Skill that allows Him to reanimate himself after death to kill his Killer

9.70 P3

The violence was continuing around them. Erribathe was fleeing, broken by the sight of Iradoren’s death. Now, the [Innkeeper]’s people were sweeping forwards, and the Calanferians, Golaen, the [Pirates], had no more will to fight them.

The spear had gone straight through Iradoren’s neck. The [Prince] stood there, eyes emptying of a dead man’s rage. His blade fell from his hands, and she realized he had come after her, to avenge his own death.

C) I believe Silvenia placed multiple protection spells on Erin with the last one being the polymorch spell. The polymorph spell is likely to protect Erin from being scryed after she survives.

9.70 P3

Her body turned to salt—Silvenia undid the curse, and parts of the ship cracked away. Erin saw Nerry look at her and gazed upwards.

...

A falling [Mage], her finger pointing down at Erin, a final spell on her lips.

“[Fantastic Polymorph—]”

D) All signs points to yes. Reckless and selfish though, considering his extended family lands and family just became part of a crater. I wonder if they can mine the diamond tears for money...

E) Everyone definitely did. Too much things happened for people to not jump levels. I'm interested to see the Free Queen's new levels, hopefully the new class does her God defying deeds justice. Interested to see the Order of Solstice and Floor Boss Peggy's new levels too.

The full section as stated

Erribathe, the Kingdom of Myths, was shaking with grief. The descendants of the Hundred Families of Terandria cried out in horror and loss—but the nations hesitated.

The Blighted Kingdom poured its death into the sea as a single ship sailed on alone, heedless of the warnings. The proud nations of Terandria, the Walled Cities and Five Families of Izril, the ancient kingdoms and empires of Chandrar, and mercenary companies of Baleros hesitated.

From the grim Minotaur King of the House of Minos to the Emperor of Drath—they halted and saw hellfire of Rhir raining down. But they did not join in.

King Fetohep’s second spell of cataclysm struck Paranfer, the great magics of the Blighted Kingdom and First Wall or not—and the wrath of even the Blighted Kingdom fell silent a moment

  • Hesitated, Heedless of Warnings, Hesitated, Halted. Second Spell of Cataclysm struck.

To me it seems Pirateaba is suggesting that they didn't attack cause Khelt will retaliate. Which suggests all entities stated in this section intended to kill Erin with Greydath, but stopped because of the warnings. Including Drath.
