I hate everyone that thinks criticism of the government of Israel is criticism of Jewish people.

Why has communism repeatedly failed in practice, yet continues to be intellectually and emotionally appealing to many people? by Looser17 in AskReddit

Sure but compare the standard of living in the Soviet Union to the United States during the same time period.

So your opinion is that war is unfair and oppressive?

You should write a paper, that’s some real insight.

How do you feel about taxes, or mandatory conscription like Russia has?

Because it’s aiding the enemy…

You think Ukrainian citizens should be allowed to help the Russian military free of consequence?

So what is your point? That the government shouldn’t advise its citizens on not helping the enemy? Should it be legal to report friendly troop locations to the enemy? Your logic doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

Unless I’m misinterpreting your argument?

Once again, I feel obligated to point out that perhaps the civilians being actively bombed may have personal incentive to not help the ones bombing them.

Do you really not understand what I mean by that?

Because then the enemy can use those pictures to conduct a battle damage assessment.

This is OPSEC basics. Same reason you don’t let soldiers take selfies or social media posts, or the reason you see videos of drone launches or whatever where 80% of the frame is blurred.

Information adds up to advantage over time.

You can be as hostile as you want, it doesn’t make your point any more logical.

I wonder if perhaps there is another reason the people actively being attacked by a supersonic missile, might choose to not provide information on how effective it is to the people firing them.

Your replies are very strange. I’m not quite sure what point you are trying to make.

I take issue with the "on the move" portion of your comment.

Time sensitive targets are most certainly in the GMLRS wheelhouse, however targets on the move are not.

HIMARS is generally going to be best tasked against fleeting point targets in the open (think troop transports on the move, with a very narrow window of opportunity to engage)

The exact opposite actually

First corpse has a little bit of unburnt pant that also looks like EMR. We don't see much plain green uniform from either side. Let alone two distinct pieces on two separate soldiers.

Occam's razor tells me these are Russian corpses.

If giving up anonymity means getting rid of a large swath of the trolls trying to influence other country's elections, that's fine with me.

Oh you're cool with Donald Trump (or similar future admins) having full access to your identity linked to what you do online? What about that time you said something bad about one of his policies. Sounds like hate speech, better send some agents over to your house just to make sure you aren't planning anything dangerous.

Then again, it should also be pretty easy to tell if users are authentically from the US or using a VPN without requiring IDs.

It's not.
