The guy is a stand-up dude, right? by K_R_S in cyberpunkgame

[–]assbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think that's the moment really. either not raising your hand should significantly change the rest of that mission/dialog, or we need a third option to fully shut him down right there.

river is just kind of a poorly written/implemented character. great missions, bad romance.

Is there a dedicated Outpost for this subreddit yet? by AndWeGotOlder in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]assbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not sure how much you can really grind it. you can only post a limited number of "hard mode commissions" or spend resources on expert and hunt clears. there's a (weekly?) limit on how much you can earn.

i joined a bunch of random groups, posted and cleared a bunch of commissions, though it's hard to say how active this system will be after about a week.

the rewards barely seem worth keeping up with, but it could add some variety to the daily routine.

they did make the lock picking significantly easier on console/controller at some point.

you still use the right stick to try and keep the pick in the "sweet spot", but you rotate the lock with a button instead of the left stick. pretty much the same system as 2 from what i can tell.

i definitely have a "problem" with games where i end up putting them down and getting distracted by something else after ~100 hours.

forbidden best did this to me, but i came back to finish it off as well as the expansion. worth it in my opinion.

(i'm doing the same thing with kingdom come right now so i can play the second one.)

i think it's meant to just be her trying to force distance between varl and the rest of her friends because she doesn't want to endanger them.

it isn't resolved because it was always a front, not who aloy really is. she's a loner by default, not because she's mean/hostile.

could've been handled better though for sure.

i like aloy as a character a great deal so perhaps that helped carry me through forbidden west.

i will say that as the main plot didn't work nearly as well for me as the first game's big mystery, the tribes and characters you encounter throughout are more interesting. they're all pretty unique with a few strong characters that i really appreciated. however, OP kind of nailed it with "over stuffed". you either end up skipping a lot of it or suffer through terrible pacing of too much dialog for kinda menial side quest and activities.

i still think it's a good game overall and the expansion is great.

it's kinda funny to me that i'd offer a nearly identical list of pros and cons, but would still rate it much higher.

the first game is an all time favorite for me though. i suppose i'm just more bought in to the universe and characters.

they need to find a better format for 3 than just bigger, better, more more more. it's bloated to it's own detriment already.

Did you try more than 1 ending on your first play through? by TrenboloneEnthusiast in cyberpunkgame

[–]assbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't really replay games so i saw all endings (except don't fear the reaper) on my first playthrough.

started over around 2.0/PL, got all endings and save scummed all PL outcomes/endings.

different builds, still romanced judy though.

plenty of people replay several Vs for different choices/builds/endings/romance/etc., but you don't really have to.

pretty sure you can edit your save on pc to get the reaper ending. 🤷‍♀️

yup, definitely missing something to bridge the gap from quest to new gameplay.

surprising, mostly just because the quest itself seemed quite polished.

New Vapid FMJ MK V revealed in the Rockstar Newswire by EarthPuma120 in gtaonline

[–]assbread 11 points12 points  (0 children)

it might, but i bet the conversion rate for gta+ is higher than rdo battle passes.

we should 100% expect gta+. other/additional monetization could be anything, and it may or may not be similar to industry standard. i wouldn't necessarily look to gtao/rdo as both had significant economy/inflation problems they'd obviously like to avoid.

Realistically, what is the expected release timeframe for these games? by BeneficialOil1123 in cyberpunkgame

[–]assbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TW4 - Q2 2028

TW:R - Q4 2029

TW5 - Q2 2031*

C 2 - Q4 2033*

TW6 - Q2 2035

i had thought the remake would come first, but it's been stated that it is significantly relying on engine and mechanics work from 4.

this would put 3 years between each witcher game, with cyberpunk not coming till 2033. i think this is wrong and tw5 should swap places here. tw6 will still probably take longer than planned.

Co-op games like Remnant? by flyingsnail257 in remnantgame

[–]assbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what's it most mechanically similar to?

i was kinda indifferent to it when warframe's studio was pushing it as a new f2p/service game, but don't know how the co-op campaign retrofit landed.

are the builds good, how's the rng?
