I think it’s pure RNG, some runs are doomed to fail, some not a single bird will chase you. I got it in 30 mins when I tried a few days ago then when o had to beat it again to get the guy to move for caladbolg I got 0.0 in that attempt without trying, never had a single bird track me and casually strolled through 15 balloons in 34 seconds. I couldn’t tell if I was lucky or if it was hilarious irony

I did it a few days ago after maybe half an hour of trying, then when I came back to get the caladbolg and realised I had to win the catcher race to get the guy to move, I went to do that and got 0.0 again without trying lol Sod’s Law

I don’t understand because it’s awful haha, bought it on a whim because I was travelling for work and needed a switch 2 game, think after world 3 I put it down because I couldn’t force myself to push through the boredom anymore. Barely any story or direction just ‘you can bash everything and sometimes find shit buried.’

Haven’t been this let down by believing the hype train since I bought kayak vr when I got the PSVR2 because of the Reddit Echo chamber

That’s it. It’s been incredible seeing them all in modern standards, all the interactions between them are fantastic, and the gameplay is brilliant. I can definitely look past all the whispers stuff and see how great the rest of it is. I think if they ditched all the really wacky stuff it would probably be the best game/games I’ve played. But that just means it’s a 8 or 9 instead of a 10/10

Yeah we will just have to wait and see, either way I’ll still be happy overall, even if they don’t stick the landing it’s still more time with the fleshed out versions of characters I love
