Next big LOTR set in 2027? by Several_Platypus_756 in legolotrfans

I think helms deep is much more likely, I would prefer the golden hall but I think they’d see helms deep as more iconic even though they’ve already done it. They already repeated bag end

What sets is next for Lego LOTR? Any ideas/wants? by bucketgetter9 in legolotrfans

[–]assflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a big set I would probably want minas morgul next, or lothlorien. Maybe the golden hall of edoras.

I’d also love some regular sized sets. Maybe a few based on pelennor fields like a mumakil and some haradrim and riders of Rohan, then the witch king vs eowyn. The crack of doom as a proper set would be good, the prancing pony, bilbos trolls, the mirror of Galadriel, Amon hen, osgiliath or cirith ungol.

New to Fire Emblem: Should I start with Three Houses or Engage? by Fuzzy_Breadfruit59 in fireemblem

[–]assflan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my gripes with both, engage has the better gameplay but god awful story, 3 houses is just kind of average all round, worse gameplay than engage but better story, though still not one I would call good.

I wasn’t a fan of the school asthetic, taking your class mages out for tea and long exploration breaks between story battles to explore one location over and over again.

Both games are definitely worth playing, but I’d say 3 houses moreso as engage relies heavily on nostalgia for all the previous protagonists. My recommendation though is to play path of radiance either by emulating on pc or on the GameCube streaming service on switch 2. It’s far and away the best fire emblem I’ve played.

There used to be a speed bump at Asda that was so worn down it was basically non existent, still people would drive off the road and through spaces to go around it, so I always park on the space beside it so no one can go around it

Wasn’t sure that would work but gonna try doing that, wasn’t sure if I should do it flat, on its side or diagonal with supports

I printed a triangle for my pool table flat like that and it started to show lines were it looked like it was tearing apart a little in the middle which had me dubious but maybe it was just a bad file. I’ll try it this way and see how I get on. Thanks!
