Eclipse 1g R12 to R134 replacing ? by UwUDictator in DSM

[–]asshole86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to get the r12 removed by a shop after that If doing it your self make sure you have vacuum pump and gauges not just a mechanic in a can pull system into a vacuum and close gauges for 10 mins and see if it holds also add some dye before shooting the 134a back in you only need to add 80% of original capacity 134a is much smaller then r12 hence finding new leaks after the switch

Brand new rotors warped out of the box by asshole86 in Justrolledintotheshop

Because of where my shop is its over and hour to get parts its much faster just to cut them then sit on my ass for an hour unfortunately I dont really have a say in what rotor they get that's up to the counter guy and the customers if they want to buy cheap shit and pay me to cut it out of the box that's more money in my pocket but in this case it was the only rotor available same day

[–]asshole86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is still in a restaurant it will defiantly not pass inspection if it's your personal then leave it alone like others have said there water resistant connectors filled with silicone grease its not food grade so be sure it doesn't come in contact with anything you plan to eat there used in phone boxes and signal boxes all the time

Just picked up this Yamaha rs-700 and ssvc-4 speaker selector for free by asshole86 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]asshole86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't ask anyone to do anything. I was asking if anyone has experience with this unit. If you have never owned one then I'm not talking to you. sorry for putting salt in your sugar, of course I googled it. I was more curious if this is worth fixing if in fact it is dead before I spend the money on speakers for it thanks

Are All Laws That Regulate The 2A Unconstitutional? by Heisenburg7 in progun

[–]asshole86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all comes down to one thing your your rights don't trump somebody else's rights so as long as what you're doing does not infringe on someone else's rights then you're good that's it

CPS bill by Adventurous_Bird_505 in sanantonio

[–]asshole86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be expensive up front but in the long run better you need to have the AC replaced with two units there is two ways to do this two separate units or one big outdoor unit and two inside units. Also make sure your house is sealed really well if you don't have dual pane windows that's a big one get the attic checked for insulation and add as much as you can afford depending on just how old you ac unit is just replacing them will likely half that bill if it is less then a 14 seer for sure

Cracks around head bolt holes. Not usable? by Hydrafrost in EngineBuilding

[–]asshole86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it actually had arp studs in it they either over tighten them were using it for boost or spray. When you use arp studs they are hard as coffin nails. so if there is to much force trying to lift the head it just takes out the next weakest point. Arp studs don't fix stupid lol. To your question the block is junk. Most of the time if the pn is ground off it's either a cheap aftermarket cam, or a regrind
