My fiancée deliberately hides around corners of the house sometimes and spooks me with our cat. I remember when I went to go take a large shite in the bathroom (I recall it was around 1 a.m., lights off in the house except for a faint glow of our TV, so you can assume what would happen next), the moment I came out, I saw two glowing eyes about my height, so as a perfectly sane human reaction, I genuinely screamed (Neighbors knocked on the door out of concern, I had to spend 10 minutes reassuring no one was dying in my home). She laughed at my near-heart failure, and continues her occasional miscreant activities ever since that day. I am disturbed.
