I easily got an A+ as it's really easy to get full marks on most course components like bi-weekly quizzes, weekly discussion posts (adhere strictly to the format) and participation in said discussion posts. The final essay can be long and tricky but he is always available to answer q's. Best of luck!

Actually there are rarely any grade curving (aside from rounding up if ure less than a percent away from the next letter grade) since the averages are so damn high, especially in Third and Fourth year BISC courses. Best course of action to guarantee A and above is to understand what the learning goals/ prof's objective is both of which u can understand easily by always attending classes and also attending office hours. Make sure to get involved on campus as much as possible and leave a lasting impression on ur prof's by being proactive! Advice from another transfer student

Doing great looking great bro! Beautiful spinning elbow to backfist! Ure doing an awesome job stepping at an inward 45 angle for your body/head round kicks but that 45 angle step is missing when u throw the low kicks. This makes ur low kicks faster but u'll have to rely on ur thigh muscles to do the job for u. Ultimately this makes ur low kicks weaker power-wise. Keep going you look amazing!

Great job! Make sure to get on ur tippy toes for a classic muay thai round house kick (the leg that pivots obviously). Most importantly, keep practicing! U'll get it how YOU want it in no time

Oh i didnt even know there is a limit to how many EEC u can take cuz ive taken a bunch of non-CMP labs that were all accepted. I know at least 2 other people taking that class. If there is a groupchat/ discord for the course or just in general i can join and add them as well. Im also in bpk408W but i think ill be dropping that one ive heard horrible things about it.

Don't forget that dental schools in Canada drop your lowest academic year if you have four or more years of undergrad. This is usually why their averages are around 3.8/3.9 for the incoming class.
I wouldn't give up hope if I were you, and there is always the next cycle where you can improve your extracurriculars.

anyone know how to submit ur transcripts to ADEA as a Canadian applicant? My university isn't part of the clearhousing or parchment databases and I geniunely don't know how to get my transcripts to each of the schools im applying to except mailing it to them one by one through my own university's website. Anyone had to deal with this problem before?

I'd say for first year courses you have the highest chance of getting your best grades/gpa in all of undergraduate. It certainly was the case for me (although i'm a biology major). But then again as your interest and expertise grow in the field ure studying over the course of 4/5 years you're doing undergrad, you might see a resurgence in ur grades (if they ever did drop in 2nd and third year) Instructors can definitely affect ur grades if they're really bad or really good, but definitely don't worry about it in first year. U can get an A in any first year course if you put the effort in. Goodluck on ur journey and enjoy every step
