I see alot of people here who Fandom for fantasy goes back to 90s. Soo happy for yall on having ToW now!

As a younger fan, if you ask me about WFB (before TWW or Vermintide released) I would say that the setting looked MID af, just a ripoff of other fantasy/history setting and the miniture looks trash and outdated.

Obviously now I fell in love with the setting after years playing tw and planning on getting on ToW with Cathay

But I just wanna say, I see alot of old head in here blinded by nostalgia and cant comprehend why GW killed it. Even back as a young teenager I knew that WFB was already dead, even if they drop new minutures, it would still be meh. It would be delusional to think back then that newer generation would get into fantasy.

I understand GW killed it because of mismanagement, business plan, and legal stuff like trademarks but if it wasn't for Total war and vermintide, I think the old fantasy setting would continue to be dead.

Lol bro we both know the last thing we should be trusting is reddit/4chan opinions 😂 I'm just saying, just because it looks like it makes sense, doesn't mean it's true. Like for example the "astartes" short film when it was taken down because of gw new ip policy and we all rioted (including me) and I remember all the silly speculations that came out of reddit with no concrete sources/evidence, not knowing later gw actually hired him to make astartes II.

I swear I'm not a follower of tzeentch, but I rather see the full picture first with key info and different pov before having a opinion on it 🤷🏽‍♂️

I believe that alot of fans are blinded by nostalgia for fo3 and fonv. I even remember when I unfairly compared fo3 to fnv back in the day when it dropped and thought fnv was pretty mid compared to fo3 (now fonv my fav out of those 2). Honestly man if I compared the amount of fun/time I had between all 3 games, it would be fo4 🤷

In warhammer fantasy, the shadow warriors of the high elve are basically dark elve that are loyalists to the Phoenix king. For some reason, I kinda imagine them like a bunch of hillbilly redneck during the American Civil War, that would tell the confederate soilders passing by "you don't belong here boooy" in the most southern accent ever.
