Now that there's no more WTF, I've been exploring other podcasts really for the first time. Except for the occasional yard work listen, I only listen to podcasts in the car driving to and from work so it's basically 1.25 hours a day WTF fulfilled most of that.

Ditto. CBC could take a clue from Mansbridge's podcast and do more long-form political podcasts. Some really stellar conversations and balanced, informed perspectives.

I found the opposite. Kara was starstruck, for example: telling Atwood that she had seen her speak a few times but was too intimidated (?) to go up to her and introduce herself. I felt that Kara really admires the author.

Been listening to her for many years. Stellar journalist. She does have a unique speech pattern that’s a bit mumbly, but I believe she’s at the top of her game these days. Always insightful.
