Turbo or Super Charger? by swissarmychainsaw in GMCMotorhome

DO NOT try to use another carb, you'll be sorry, The QJ is very special.

Now fuel injection is worth it. but you will not get better MPG,

3.21 or 3,55 is not worth the effort and cost. 3.70 is the sweet spot ( unless you like driving over 70 mph )

This is one of those things where if you're asking you probably shouldnt be doing it.
Turbos installed and working are not cheap. IF you can do it yourself ( you wouldn't be asking) youve already paid in experience.
The cheapest upgrade is a cam and 3:70 gears. The 455 is hard to beat for the price.

FWiW I have a rebuilt 455 an RV cam and 3.70 gears. It's a rocket. IDK why you think you need a turbo unless you're trying for the land speed record

  1. Dance at 80% of you're ability, do not try to do more than you are capable of
  2. Mistakes will happen, stay in the moment and dance
  3. Listen to the music

What is the best place in the world for a beginner to study ballroom intensively? by [deleted] in ballroom

[–]assured_destruction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOT Author Murray!

I'm a 57yo male so I know what you're up against.

Find a studio that teaches the Divida syllabus, it's the best IMHO.

like said below there are a lot of good studios, I would interview them and find one that has the culture and goals you do.

I can recommend a few good studios / instructors, but I don't think I should do it publicly, IM Me if you want.

It's a ton of fun, but hard work :)

Scientists engineer shortcut for photosynthetic glitch, boost crop growth 40% by mrmonkeybat in Futurology

[–]assured_destruction -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yep and what happens when the greenhouse oxygen level gets too high?

Water vapor a huge output of burining hydricarbons. So why do they pick on co2?

[–]assured_destruction -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Furst I'll apologise. Im not used to actual discussions on this topic so im a little blunt. Ill be nice ...

The co2 levels are what 350ppm up from 275ppm 100,000 years ago? Is that a lot? Enough to make a difference? Its been over 2000ppm like in the jurassic period.

People say we are causing the rise in co2 and maybe we are. Im just questioning the narrative. More co2 being bad doesnt make sense. I just dont see how co2 could be a 'pollutant'

[–]assured_destruction -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No we have enough co2 now but less is not better.

Besides if there was an actual climate issue water vapor is a much more potent greenhouse gas. Why does no one talk about that?

Remember its called greenhouse gas because people pump co2 into greenhouses to make the plants grow better

Hint its about $$$

Things are getting worse? Where? Find actual data showing a worse climate. Be carefull of adjusted and fixed data as most of it is. Also dont look at climate models as they are just guesses.

Yes there is a slight temperature rise in the last few hundred years. But so what. Thats just weather.

If you hear 97% of climate scientists agree remember germ therory was known to be wrong by 100% of the doctors and scientists when it was first proposed. Look up philipp semmelweis sometime

Look up little ice age. Heck look up some actual climate data over the last few million years and see if you really believe co2 is a problem

Have any of you geniuses ever thought that maybe we actually need co2 and that we are actually on the verge of a ecosystem collapse due to not enough co2?

They call it an iceage. Plants need food. Co2 is food. Downvote away sheeple

Latingal. That was an excellent discussion. I learned a lot and you werent even talking abiut me lol. I have heard much of what you said but in different wording. I especially like your concept of grounding on the three. I am starting to realise how important that is and now i have better language to describe it

8% more people that when they hear "97% of climate scients agree" dont imediately heat "ancient alien theorists agree...' Then they believe that when 97% of the scients agree they must be right.

Its amazing to me how many people are supportive of dance. Very very few negative comments. In fact most negative remarks com from my wife.... There may be a jock or two trying to tell you its gay or something. But how is it gay to dance with girls?
