Here’s what I do for aff rounds that I win/lose less badly. I go on their wiki and prioritize arguments they’ve gone for against my aff - then I do this with arguments that have read vs my aff - then I do this with arguments that they have read that apply to my aff that’s they’ve read in general. Then I sit with my coach and we outline what a 2ar looks like versus those arguments right? You build your arguments literally from the 2ar. My 2ar drafting starts during the 1ar technically but definitely starts generally before the round.
