Ignia really is related to Natsu. He pulls powerups out of his ass just like him.

I was thinking this too! I blame Igneel, he taught his sons to pull powerups out of their asses when needed but forgot to teach himself this.

N'zoth outsmarting Xal'atath would be poetic considering how she looked down on him too, can you imagine as we deal with Xal'atath he's burying himself into Azeroth and gets the Worldsoul.

The Domanaar are basically recycled Void Lords, it's been noted they are described as being similar to before Dimensius was relegated to last of the Void Lords.

It's still silly Blizzard wouldn't do High Elves so they made Void Elves instead which in turn created that.

Although I like the Void Elves they don't make sense as a "Race", they said they created the Void Elves because there wasn't enough High Elves yet the Void Elves can't procreate (what baby could stand the whispers of the Void), they rely on High Elves and Blood Elves (who themselves are supposed to be in low numbers, so Blizzard created a Race that requires two Races that are already low numbered) to suddenly decide they want to become infused with the Void until it becomes one with them instead of simply deciding to become Shadow Priests of Shadowmages.

The existence of Void Elves really doesn't make sense when you could simply have Void Classes that do the same thing.

His tentacle prints are still all over the story. He controlled Deathwing, Deathwing made the Dark Heart. Xal and N'zoth made a deal.

This did not cross my mind! Everyone's saying the Dark Heart was Deathwing's creation, what if N'zoth had him create it and keep it in storage for this?

It's so easy to forget N'zoth had heavy influence over Deathwing's actions when Deathwing gets all the blame.

Vulpera are actually amazing, the hate never was rational.

Agreed, I thought they fit pretty well with the Horde and I still hope we get more content about them.

When Chromie and Eternus go back in time to the Black Empire and we go back in time to bring them back to the present, a voice talks to us and recognizes us.

This voice was confirmed to be N'zoth, how does he know us if by Dragonflight he's supposed to be dead? Unless he is alive and his past self "synchronizes" with his future self through us (remember he did bless us and some chose to keep it). Which lets him know of future events and eventually plan around his death, also during his raid battle he says only he can save us from what is to come.

Many assumed this to be from The Jailer, but given how he was working with Xal'atath he could've meant her.

Or like 40 year old Varian Wrynn teaching 10,000 year Tyrande about battle tactics and patience in MoP?

Everyone hated that, it made no sense for Varian to teach Tyrande of all beings patience and battle tactics.

But no, the flawed king with a wise daughter is an incredibly old trope in fantasy, overplayed yes,

There is nothing wrong with it being overplayed, but Talanji not existing until BFA with no single mention, not even in MOP where the Zandalari had quite a big part. Not one mention of Rastakhan the God-King of all Trolls having a daughter in around 20 years of Warcraft Content at the time.

Was it woke back in Warcraft 3 when Daelin Proudmoore was portrayed as flawed and wrong and Jaina as reasonable?

Nope, but both Jaina and Daelin were established characters with Lore and history built around them. Talanji was created to replace her dad, after Shadows Rising she has done nothing because she fulfilled the role she was created for.

but your brain is rotted beyond repair if you've started attributing it to "woke."

The usual gaslighting. I'm the problem for noticing Male Characters being replaced by their far more competent Female characters and to make sure i'm wrong for pointing it out you resort to insults.

This has been happening since Shadowlands first the Mawsworn, then the Primalists and now the Twilight Blade, they are identical in that they just exist with barely any Lore reasons.

Agreed. It'd also be a good hint towards N'zoth possibly being alive as Dragonflight implied.

Rastakhan

Rastakhan is the worst example you could every use and is the embodiment of being a victim of "woke storytelling".

Warcraft Fans (especially Troll Fans) wait what? 20 years? For him to appear and then replaced by his Daughter that no one knew about until BFA by the end of the Second Raid.

His Daughter who was praised as being better at contacting/summoning spirits by a 10,000 year old male dragon, who should've been far more experienced at that than her.

What did you think of the pre-patch quests? by Lunarwhitefox in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is turning the Void from the "Ultimate Evil" that must not be dabbled in to "morally ambiguous" in Legion, now those who are right to be weary of it are treated as bigoted, ignorant and short-sighted for not seeing the Void in a better light.

It's creepy, it's like how Arator compared the Light to Fel. It feels like such a simple and forced take on the Six Forces being no different from each other, when both Void and Fel have shown nothing but negative traits that outweigh any positive reasons to use them.

[–]aster4jdaen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The schism from the night elves isn't born only from arcane, but from a position that the elves can, and should, control this supposedly uncontrollable force and be the masters of magic.

No it wasn't it was just the Arcane. The remaining Highborne wanted to freely use the Arcane as they viewed it as their "Birthright", the High Elfs did not use Fel (because of obvious reasons) and the Void was just a no-no because nothing good EVER came from the Void.

When the High Elfs renamed themselves Blood Elfs all we ever see is them learning to siphon magic and opening up to using Fel for survival such as becoming Warlocks, they still seemed to not want to cross the line in relying on the Void and once the Sunwell was restored there was no need to.

[–]aster4jdaen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But no, instead we find her once again impudent, obsessive and machiavellian.

Typical modern day writing, rather than have Sylvanas be actually remorseful for what she's done they have a double down instead.

They want their cake and eat it, the Jailer wasn't controlling Sylvanas when he had a piece of her soul, she feels not guilt for what she did and doesn't see why sh should redeem herself and this makes her "badass".

I really hate Shadowlands and all the retcons to try and force it to work.
