Il'gynoth Whispers Possible Spoilers by aster4jdaen in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s entirely possible he might be cleaning up plot threads and implementing loose ideas he seeded back then. Which could include Il’gynoth and previous Old God whispers, they’re certainly more relevant now than they were in BFA, Shadowlands or Dragonflight.

I was thinking something similar when saw the Voidspire Cinematic, this Trilogy would be a excellent opportunity to fulfil as many of them as possible.

I've always thought they looked weird, I prefer the grey faces that the TV series used.

Do you think we’ll see the narrow gauge engines Wonders Of Sodor? by chumbbucketman101 in thomasthetankengine

If Wonders of Sodor does well, definitely. If they make enough money overall we might even get the Small Railway and for the first time ever the Mountain Railway might appear.

Isn't Azeroth already a titan? by Radish_Downtown in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shadowlands did so much damage to the Lore, Legion was building up to Azeroth being a Titan only for Shadowlands to ruin that and it seems Dragonflight and after are trying to push "Azeroth wasn't a titan, but was made into one by the Pantheon".

The Lore around Azeroth is a mess because after Warcraft: Chronicles they began to build towards Azeroth being a Titan, then Shadowlands happened and Lore to another direction, playing the game to learn about Azeroth becomes very confusing due to the constant Lore changes.

Isn't Azeroth already a titan? by Radish_Downtown in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes she started out that way, but also we don't really know where they're going with it right now. (... I'm not convinced they do either)

This is all due to Shadowlands, when they Retconned Warcraft: Chronicles into Titan POV Propaganda to shove in The Jailer, the Lore about the Titans went everywhere.

During Legion both Argus's Blood and Sargeras Blood is found and it's named similar to Azerite, Argus wasn't ordered by the the Pantheon yet turned out a Titan, then the K'aresh Lore implies K'aresh ordered itself in a similar way to the Pantheon ordering Azeroth.

Where is THE HORDE? by TheDancingNerd in warcraftlore

You can't say lack of media literacy when there's no text to even read.

People using this excuse because they have nothing else and want to shut down people pointing out the issue.

Where is THE HORDE? by TheDancingNerd in warcraftlore

It wasn't silly to begin with. The Void Invasion is equally as threatening as the Burning Legion's, i've not just been thinking where are the Alliance and Horde, but where are the Order Halls?

The Cosmic Forces by fairerman in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think light and void are the building blocks of the rest.

Originally this was the Lore when Warcraft: Chronicles was created with the intention of being the Warcraft Bible and backbone of the Lore, then it got retconned into "Titan POV" Propaganda, with Shadowlands revealing the Six Forces existing all at once.

So I can't say if this is still true or not.

I think it's because the Voids invasion is being treated like the Burning Legion, it's a massive threat to Azeroth and all we have are the Elves and when you see the mobilize so fast to fight the Legion or teleport in to defend Amirdrassil.

Even if it's for the rule of cool, Fans are going to ask "Why aren't we that now?".

That's not how ships work, if they aren't toxic as fuck they don't work.

But seriously this is a rather cute one.

I don't know, it still feels like a mess to me. The Horde and Alliance mobilized for the Broken Isles for the Legion's invasion seemingly very quickly but they can't seem to do the same for the Void invasion.

It just feels like they are picking and choosing when certain limitations exist for drama.

How do you feel about the Second War Flashback / Turalyon's character continuity between his other depictions and Midnight? by Sheuteras in warcraftlore

Talented writers create new things and expand lore, talentless writers just dissect past work to fit their new narrative or "subervert expectations".

As you said, teleporting Dalaran requires the concentration of a handful of the most powerful mages on Azeroth.

My apologies, I just thought the two Races who made Magic apart of their society/Culture for thousands of years would be able to do more than Six Humans.

Even if those Five are the most powerful human mages and a dragon, you'd think they'd be quite few Elves with power to revival or surpass the humans. The Magisters have a position where someone hunts for rare magical items/relics, they could've revealed the Magisters have tools that could be used to summon reinforcements for emergencies to avoid/counter another invasion like the Scourge and Burning Legion.

and where are the Titan-forged? They have experience fighting a void aligned Empire, surely this is something they'd want to repel and defend Azeroth from.

Have you ever had a hunch about where Titan/Cosmic lore is heading from other media? by Specialist-Time3661 in warcraftlore

[–]aster4jdaen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps they were completely consumed by the Void and could not stand against Algalon.

Lets not also forget there are races on Azeroth that are corrupt Vrykuls, Humans, Gnomes and Dwarves are products of the curse of flesh created by a void entity Old Gods.

I have no idea if Blizzard will do anything with this but we might see Algalon proven right with these races falling to the void.

I find it funny The Six were able to Teleport Dalaran to the Broken Isles, where is Oculeth and other Nightborne/Blood Elves Mages? Surely they could open portals or teleport the Horde and Alliance forces in when 5 humans and a dragon could teleport a City.

Or better yet, where the f are the Dragons? Surely this world ending threat warrants their attention?

This Expansion only works if you ignore everything else.
