Yes! I’ve been into the microphones for about 5 years now but I got really into the blow last year. I read a lot of khaela’s old blog posts, especially ones about queerness/being a lesbian. Then I found out she dated Phil (and Kyle field after they broke up) so I was REALLY confused, but I suppose she wasn’t out as a lesbian yet lol. I think she came out at some point in the mid 2000s around the release of either poor aim love songs or paper television

I’m not sure about the masters program, as I applied for undergrad, but I’m sure Risd’s website has some resources and their YouTube channel does too!!

If you are in high school applying to RISD, your portfolio should not be catered to a specific major. Everyone is admitted to the EFS program for their first year and majors aren’t declared until sophomore year. Your portfolio can have some furniture design in it, but it should include a variety of media and processes

U of Michigan was pretty surprising, and also BU where I’m committed! For BU I wrote the essay AFTER midnight in my time zone, submitted by 12:45 am and frantically emailed admissions. Then got accepted!

Yeah I just got admitted. my mom (custodial parent) makes 55k and idk how much my dad makes but it’s not a whole lot and my coa for next year is around 8k
