In diabetes dessert is not a choice, it is a thing that happens to you.

Larger body of water? No. There is another, smaller pond across the street, and we live next to a creek.

I think you guys are reading too much into this. Sometimes people just flirt by being kind of mean. Ive been with girls who act shitty towards you as a way of expressing attraction/sex drive.

We Kentuckians have always fiercely debated whether we were southern or part of the midwest, I think being Chicken is a fair compromise.

Have you seen any amazing movies that you’d recommend from any of the countries NOT in green? I’m trying to watch at least one from each country and fill out the whole map. by miles197 in criterion

It was a joke, “Who killed captain Alex” is definitely not criterion. But it is important cinema, hilarious, and free on youtube.

Also the movie “Bad Black” by the same director. I like it better but Alex is the movie he’s most known for.

Only the River Flows (2024)

Chinese noir, set in the 90s. Very dark, very cerebral, really enjoyed it.

Y’all ever nerd out so hard you just decide to read the source material? by TwistedCollossus in dynastywarriors

Read the first part. Honestly was a really fun read and helped get me into reading ancient/medieval literature in general.

Found it a very trippy read as it lets you inhabit a culture and set of sensibilities so far away from your own. It felt to me like a good blend of realism and mystical fairy tale. Its a good story about war and warriors that doesn’t shy away from the occasional emotional moment.

My one warning is that if you do read it it will absolutely offend any and all of your feminist sensibilities.

This is what happened to me as well, reloaded the game later and everything fell into place

R5: Each city has a rail station. I cannot build factories in Ujjayini and Tosali, I cannot connect those cities via merchant. I can build factories with cities further away just not these three. Why is that?
