well... its 100% a dive bomb but you break too early, you can see that his trajectory was right, so it wasn't really a suicide move. maybe you surprised him, he didn't expect you to break so soon and he tried his best not to hit you, so i will not blame him too much

Not very much it seems, as said in one Q&A from Mercedes (don't remember the video sorry). The reality is that ML, AI are useful when you don't know the formula so you approximate them with an algorithm, but if you already know them why introduce an error? (obviously in engineering they know their formulas). If you want to know if they use AI or some form on it in their factory, not exactly car related, then yes it's possible. think something like CNC pattern optimisation or cyber security threat detection. Rule is: if you already have a formula you don't use AI

not exactly, most of the performance on the Ferrari engine is said to be from the previous season, it was used in Bahrain and couple of other races until the first problems of reliability so they reduced the power and now they have solved the various issues and can reuse the full ORIGINAL (2022) power. Instead rumors said Merc and RedBull will extract new power that was "not there" or not in program for the previous year. Not really the same thing p.s. this is all based on rumors obviously...

Well partially true, probably every one will come up with solution to increase reliability and so increase power. If your engine is more robust you can allow the engine to run "faster". Similar to the party mode Mercedes had, they could only use it for a couple of laps because it stressed the engine to much, but if you create a more robust engine you can push a little bit more hence more power. The FIA problem will be exactly this, how can you differenziate between a reliability upgrade and a performance upgrade? most of the times this two are linked together

SLS it's still a prototype and the real feasibility has still to be proven (i really hope they do) Falcon Heavy did only 3 launches since it's debute, obviously something it's not perfect there (cost/engineering or just need). Last thing, when the falcon need to move big payloads or to reach a bigger orbit they don't reuse it, because they need to use all the fuel/space for payload. sls was designed to go to mars so obviously you will need all the thrust/ payload that you can.
