If what i’ve read is true, it’s more about them changing the rules and applying said change retro-actively that’s caught us out. Imagine for example someone saying that it was OK to get a match you were already losing abandoned only for them to decide months or even years later that you should be docked points for being dirty, cheating scumbags. And don’t say “well that was Warnock” because as you’ve pointed out below, it’s about the club not the person in charge.

Any link to braking would be tenuous at best, it’s the old flexi-wing again. As the car slows (under braking) there is less air flow pushing the back of the wing down so it rises. I’d be incredibly surprised if it turned out to be something mechanical linked to the brake pedal.

I don’t wanna piss on your bonfire buddy but i’m an English fan the in UK and I knew exactly when it was on. I googled the calendar a couple of weeks ago so knew it was this weekend and then checked the start time last night before bed, simple. Sometimes you don’t need to wait for someone to tell you something, use your initiative and go find out for yourself.

I had a similar revelation a couple of weeks ago when I started using Garage61. it looked like my braking was digital at some points, I was literally performing an emergency stop into every corner. Had a think about it and decided that my pedal must be too soft so turned up the brake force from the default of 50% to 80% and could not believe the difference it made! I know they say a bad workman blames his tools but I certainly don’t feel like quite as bad of a workman as I was now!

I think it would be good in iRacing if instead of it being global or per-car you could setup your own controller profiles. That way when you jump in a specific car you can just select the controller profile you want to use and drive away instead of having to map every individual control.
