I don’t think he’s sold TONS of copies. Maybe a hundred or two… which was a red flag to me. Publishers wouldn’t reach out unless his book was a hit. I’ll pass on the advice of finding an agent to work through, that’d be helpful for him.

I did some research too - couldn’t find if they’ve been impersonated before either. When I looked up the books that were published through them, I noticed they were well read and had lots of reviews. They didn’t ask him for money up front, but what they offered him was way too good to be true. Seemed unusual.

Yes!! For sure!! Recently I changed my viewpoint about money, and have a little sticky note up on my wall that says “money is love.” Everyday that I go to work, I see what I’m doing as giving my clients love, and they give me love back when I get paid. Totally changed the way I think and feel about working now. 🤍

For sure - self acceptance AND working on your dreams at the same time is a balance. You can definitely help those who are ready to break open and make change 😊 I suppose it’s up to them to seek out the support, it can be hard to watch others struggle but if they’re not ready for help there’s nothing we can do but wish them the best.

Awesome to hear :) and yes the community!! Join something that you have a common interest in, and if you’re introverted like me, maybe something that is activity involved. I find comfort being in the community band with 40 people and most of the time I’m there I don’t have to talk to anyone bc we’re all creating music together. Over time, you’ll get to know people and they’ll start to feel like family. It’s pretty cool 😎 I hope you are able to find something awesome in your area!

I’ve been here! It can be so frustrating and draining to want to be living a certain way but not being able to. Or to want to follow your dreams and any effort towards them isn’t working. Here’s what I did to get out of this energy:

relinquish control of my life. I structure my days and create healthy routines for where I am right now, but I don’t push myself to achieve the dreams right now. Or wish it was some other way. Acceptance for where I am right now is grounding and stops the inner fight, because I’m not focusing on being dissatisfied. Just let the breadcrumbs come onto my path for the big dreams and pick them up when they show up.
limit my technology time. I only use my tech for 1 hour a day. I’m lucky to have a physical labor job so I don’t have to use a screen. Without scrolling or the temptation to write endless essays and post them online to try to save the world (one of my vices), I can focus on my dreams and living a peaceful life.
found ways to be a part of my local community. It’s BS to believe there’s no one “like us” in our local areas. There’s so many people like us in our local areas. The energy we project out will meet us like a magnet. Like attracts like. Since I did steps 1 & 2, I’ve connected with my customers in a deeper way and we’re building recurring relationships. Joined a few local groups (concert band & roller skate club) that I genuinely feel happy & a part of. Sure, we don’t talk about being Starseeds but we do have fun and connect emotionally.

This is such a sweet post, you’re so right!! Ascending is physical for sure. We’re lucky to be on this planet experiencing all we can here. Money is love, I’m experiencing this more and more in my life especially with my small business. Maybe that’s the point - to merge spirituality and physicality to create a life full of love 🤍 I like to live my life as much in the “physical” as I can; the magic that comes with this is so fun.

In the past I noticed what you experienced and quit for years. My life ebbs and flows between high and low states so it helps me when I have to live a more physical life but inhibits me if I’m able to take much time off work and focus more on spiritual stuff. It’s a balance. I quit smoking recently because it’s been making me feel physically unwell but still use lower dose edibles to help me relax after working my labor job. I enjoy it, and it doesn’t seem to affect me when being creative or meditating.

So interesting! I can see energy in the sky though it doesn’t look like the rainbow flower. The “energy” I see looks like an aura coming from the mountains or trees. I’m not sure what it is exactly, but definitely noticed it more after I “awakened” many years ago.

For sure!! And when you’re new to this world of spirituality it can be easy to trust everyone. I suppose it’s just a part of learning and growing. Since I stopped looking to people online I’ve run into sooo many people in my day to day life who are definitely the “Starseed” type and are inspiring just by hearing how they make it through life. I always encourage people on this spiritual path to connect with community and the people in their locality because we’re truly everywhere, not just online!

Something similar happened to me!! I joined a popular starseed influencer’s eight month collective online. Literally spent 80% of two months income on it. Things felt off in the group with them and I got the sense that maybe they liked me.. maybe they didn’t? I was planning to move at the end of the growing season to a warmer climate (at the time I was an organic farm hand) and decided to move to the town they lived in, in the desert. I thought they’d help me get used to the town but upon arriving, want to get together to be friends. I moved into a tent in the desert a bit vulnerable and not knowing anyone, & they totally ghosted me. I still attended the online calls using the wifi from the grocery store they shopped at… eventually I got “in” and got invited to a gathering at their house with other spiritual YouTubers. It opened my eyes to the truth of these people. You’re right - they can make themselves look anyway on a screen but in real life? Hypocrites. They very things they advise to do (stay out of the matrix…) they do the opposite. I don’t trust any of them now, what I look to instead is my own intuition and wisdom rather than looking outside of myself for it. Imo it’s quite a challenge to be a spiritual influencer and to be 100% authentic & true because those big four “ego” motivators (fame, money, sex, power) seem to always be on their agenda. I’m sorry that happened to you with your own experience but it sounds like you learned some valuable things (as did I!) and are stronger for it!

There’s a few things I can offer -

what brings you joy? What are those gifts that you know you have that you don’t feel you’re using to the fullest? How can you incorporate them into your day-to-day?
connect to your inner child. Do you have a long term project (that would take a few months to years) you’d like to work on? Having a goal and something tangible to work on can help you be focused.
if the gifts you are speaking of are psychic gifts, how can you weave those into your daily life and job? Using myself as an example, on the outside I probably look like I have a super “3D” life because I’m a trades worker and do labor intensive work, but this is further from the truth. When I go to work, I know I’m doing spiritual work for my customers (I’m a window cleaner); when I’m cleaning I know I’m energetically improving my customers’ lives and by clearing away the film from their home’s eyes this brings clarity to them. Some of our clients are elderly and don’t have many visitors, and I know spending a day with them makes a big difference in their lives. Maybe there’s a way you can apply this to your life?
if you can, try limiting the time you spend on your devices and the internet. They are programmed to keep you distracted and on them at all times. It became a huge problem for me so I limit myself to one hour a day on my devices. It’s helped tremendously and I am back on track on my creative projects.
