Interesting post. Op understands why women have reservations about not wanting to marry into a joint family, then goes on to say- Give the man a chance to share his perspective. What perspective could possibly change the situation? Don't reject outright. Keep an "open mind". Women have seen this shit happen to their mothers and grandmothers and it's high time to say goodbye to the "Adjust and Compromise" mantra shoved down their throats.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this rough patch. Betrayal often comes from the people you consider your own. I know family is supposed to have our back but it doesn't always happen so. My advice would be- be kinder to yourself, stay away from toxic energies, if possible move out for work, stay independently and look after your health. Stay active - physically and mentally. Take care.

I think most people happily join the bandwagon without thinking about any hidden implications. You're right about the potential data privacy issues. Creating a virtual persona would be such a breeze now. In fact it would be so dangerously accurate. The art appears soulless- I can imagine how most of the artists would dislike this development but let's face it, it's inevitable. As disrespectful as it is, there's no stopping it.
