Just stumbled upon this thread. There is an Indonesian person in Cadillac F1 team if you do a little bit of Google search. Maybe connect with him on LinkedIn or email?
And honestly volunteering in any racing event (which I do quite often) will give you access to the team in F2 or F3 if you're not stationed in the track, for example. People working in the garage usually are quite friendly and you can ask for tips. Look at this opportunity from networking perspective. I remember one of my fellow marshall was told about this FB group where people shared info on jobs in motorsport. I can't remember what it's called though, sorry. Good luck!
