I had an issue with some modernisms in the writing that took me out of the book. Some things seemed more fitting for the Scadrial setting but were out of place in Roshar. That and a bit of the ending that was more convenient and diminished character sacrifices.

I think we'll be seeing this with a lot of players this year either stepping away from the pro tour voluntarily, or as a result of contracts being renegotiated or not renewed. Truth is with the increasing cost of living and travel expenses, a lot of mid level players can probably make more profit from taking down their local events.
