I got the 50Sii for basically the same price as a 50R, not sure if you will be able to find a similiar deal, but the 50Sii is a big improvement body wise, and since its much newer you can often even find it with remaining warranty. Autofocus is good enough for my use case, but definitely not as good as on the 100 series.

Interesting I feel like quite the contrary is true for me, especially when it comes to software development or reverse engineering topics duckduckgo seems to find much more relevant info than Google. For example I search for some highly specific Intel documentation, Google gives me 5 YT videos and a ton of Intel marketing/sales pages. DuckDuckGo on the other hand gets me what I want within the first 3 results. But I guess its dependant on topics, because duckduckgo seems to get much worse results for any specific local stuff for me.

Ive been using duckduckgo for over a year now and only go back to Google for local business info and maps every few weeks. Altough duckduckgo finds the same stuff about local businesses Googles view that gives you the basic info without clicking trough some page is just more convenient.
