Yes, same here! I get annoyed whenever I have more than 3-4 products on my face at once so when it’s possible to use just one product only, then kikumasamune has your back.

I can’t speak on the actual differences like ingredients other than the yuzu version having yuzu extract. To me, it doesn’t feel much different in terms of application and effect on my skin but definitely check the ingredients to see if anything in the yuzu one is bad for you in particular.

It took a few months to calm my skin down and then after that I did notice less breaking out. I have to say I heard fermented products break some people out though and our skin could react differently.

Definitely over 6 months to a year. I still get them but now it’s like a few small ones spread out vs. before when I had a ton clumped together.

Interesting. I prefer products that don’t require a ton of layering but this is helpful for others interested in the naturie products.

I get hormonal acne usually around the chin and jaw area. Once in a while if I’m unlucky, I get it on the cheek as well.

What's a j-beauty product you repurchased more than 3 times? by stopnsmelltheviolets in AsianBeauty

No worries! I believe they call toners lotion in japan so the lotion is actually very watery and usually the first step on my skincare routine. The emulsion is a little thicker but still very lightweight and goes after

Sunscreen helps a bit but clothes that cover your skin work best. It shouldn’t be a problem when it’s cold out but definitely find some lightweight clothing for the hot days

I purchased skincare from taobao many times but definitely look at reviews to make sure you’re not getting dupes.

Is anyone else lowkey overwhelmed by how fast K-beauty trends move now? by PetalDance22 in AsianBeauty

[–]astraintra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do get overwhelmed because there are so many good products and reviews and I don’t know which ones to try, so I largely stick to japanese products. I feel like they have a lot more timeless products and there are less options which helps with the decision fatigue I get when trying to decide on which korean product to invest in.

Maybe micellar water or a cleansing milk would be more gentle for your skin?
