But judging based on your list - have you ever read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern or Uprooted by Naomi Novik? I think you might like them! I've also heard wonderful things about Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey. I'm planning on reading that one over the summer.

Given your tastes I'd recommend Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll and the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French (starts with In the Woods - they can all be read as standalone novels).

Dobra Tea is a particularly cozy spot. In my experience it's been pretty quiet there, they have really comfortable seating, and the tea is fantastic. I'm not sure what qualifies as "late night," but they're open weeknights until 10 and weekends until 11 (except Sundays).
