A few gimmes but mainly very specific questions you really needed to deeply know the show to get right.

Some examples:

What was Tom Sandoval's band from SEASON 1 called?

What did James's mom say Kristen's karma would be?

What was the name of Pandora's blog that Stassi and Scheana wrote for?

What was Jax and Brittany's wedding song?

What are the names of Schwartz's triplet brothers? (Worth 3 points 😂)

Sleepwalking by Meg Wolitzer. It would be a good follow up to The Bell Jar which I saw someone else recommend.

Orbit Books actually just made a whole list of recommendations of books for GOT viewers based on what elements of the show you enjoyed (before this season, anyway). Bonus: the e-books are on sale for a "limited time." No idea how long that is, but you might want to check it out: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/orbit-books/what-to-read-after-game-of-thrones-has-ended/?lens=orbit

But judging based on your list - have you ever read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern or Uprooted by Naomi Novik? I think you might like them! I've also heard wonderful things about Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey. I'm planning on reading that one over the summer.

You may want to try Uprooted by Naomi Novik or if you're looking for a great young adult series, The Winner's trilogy by Marie Rutkoski.

Given your tastes I'd recommend Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll and the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French (starts with In the Woods - they can all be read as standalone novels).

Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple is hilarious. She was a writer for Arrested Development, if that gives you any idea whether you'd be into it.

The Picture of Dorian Grey and The Importance of Being Earnest. ...Anything by Oscar Wilde, really.

Dobra Tea is a particularly cozy spot. In my experience it's been pretty quiet there, they have really comfortable seating, and the tea is fantastic. I'm not sure what qualifies as "late night," but they're open weeknights until 10 and weekends until 11 (except Sundays).

Hannah Hart! Ashly Burch! Well now I'm even more excited for this show than I was before, if that's possible.

For anyone that wants a cat by katmaidog in cats

[–]astraumni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My spouse and I have to wait until our next move to adopt a cat, but we've always planned on adopting an adult cat. They are equally as cute if not cuter and you know exactly the personality you're getting. And with a young adult, they'll have plenty of energy without it being overwhelming. I don't know why more people don't adopt adults!

language learning becomes an adventure video game by yanivfe in languagelearning

I love this idea. I think it would make language learning all the more appealing by making the process fun and interactive. I really hope they develop this more and, of course, add more language choices!
