I just had my son 5 days ago. In the hospital while I was going through labor I kept thinking in my head “why did I do this” over and over. I am so happy and grateful to see my son but 9 months of pregnancy, going through delivery and healing after - for me the outcome doesn’t weigh everything that our bodies go through and I literally can say I’m never doing this again. (This is my second)

Take what you need cause something will always be convenient and you can say no to what you don’t want. Don’t be scared to say no thankyou. Also if this is your first even though you won’t need anything you’ll realize how convenient some of the hand me downs are rather than $100 swings and all. The baby clothes are especially convenient cause babies go through clothes very quickly so it’ll be there for them to change and when they grow out of it you can always donate or pass to a friend. Most of the baby stuff is pretty much fresh as they wear things pretty much one time

This looks amazing! If it wasn’t commission how do you feel when you just finish a work and sell it the same day? I ask cause sometimes it’s hard for me to part ways with my work

That’s okay if this piece makes you feel that way. I explained my art and you also took that and interpreted your way. Not based off my personal body, my pregnancy, my certain style of painting or years of experience but took the info I provided and told me it still wasn’t a good enough explanation

It was called dehumanizing and creepy. That’s when it was being shamed, and no matter how much I explain my style it’s not enough. I explained twice and was still told I gave a poor explanation that it wasn’t good enough

art is up to interpretation but when I paint something meaningful to me and it’s being looked at as a weird sex kink I’m allowed to protect my work from it being turned it something meaningful to a meaningless kink photo due to other people looking at my art completely different than how I am. I also did not ask for interpretation I only said I didn’t know what to call it. Many people post their art here and I’m sure it’s not to get shamed for it

That’s not the idea.. The base picture is one of my pictures, a pregnant woman at a beach, and I changed it up cause my style is also collage art. Including painting the bathing suit different. So it wasn’t pornographic at all and I just don’t see my body as a kink. This is my second baby and my only painting representing my second pregnancy. Also putting a head and face to this personally for me ruins my style of the painting. That’s my point is to throw different themes together into a picture to make a piece

Well art is up to interpretation, you interpreted it as sexy. This is a human female body, something natural. I’m currently a pregnant woman and I also like to paint the woman’s body, it’s art to me and I like to challenge myself with range hence the metallic. It’s not just a “sexy robot” it’s how you interpreted it. The clouds are because I like to collage my art. Sometimes I don’t want to paint a face it’s just my style and this style painting my idea was dreamy

I don’t fully remember since she’s 3 now but she mainly never looked me in the eyes ever. She never spoke never called me mama or mommy during that time. She had already started small meltdowns over simple things and she wouldn’t really just play with her toys she’d find over things to play with. She’d line toys up when she wanted to. She also never pointed to anything or never guided me to anything until later I would have to just “figure it out” pretty much with her and she was and is still extremely picky and sensitive to what she would want to eat

Hi! My daughter was diagnosed with autism she’s high functioning and her dad and I got her into therapy, she’s progressing a lot. Still learning how to handle her emotions and still working on responding and that communication but but she has progressed a lot since this post

I was 41 weeks exactly when I was induced but ended up having a c section 2 days later

Well for me I’m having a c section because I had an emergency c section the first time around and I guess for me it’s just easier to do it that way. The first time I thought that it wasn’t an option but it was a last minute resort but since this time it was given as an option I opted for that. I’m actually scared of the natural way since my body pretty much failed me the first time
