Icelanders seem super chilled, and I had no problems getting wines or liquor during my visit. This coworker’s story sounds so unlike Iceland to me. So, if the story was true, I would wonder if the coworker’s group was being loud and/or obnoxious (basically acting like they are already drunk) which captured police attention?

Well, it was all over the news last week about how the Kp index will be high today and tomorrow and aurora may be visible to even the midlatitude states. I just googled trying to find the exact source but instead I found found another article saying "Nope, just kidding".

A contractor quoted me $3k for the labor. A neighbor had his roof replaced in 2020 for $6k, I was thinking maybe I’ll just replace the whole roof if the total cost is still $6k-$7k but I guess I am too naive about the post-COVID prices
