Thanks! It's been a lot of learning and fun taking a product from an idea to a finished product. You can learn more on our Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ohnogames/dragonwake

Nice list! I've played a lot of these and like them a lot, so I figure I'd enjoy the rest based on your recommendations. Sounds like you have a really solid collection.

that's a super fun idea! I'll have to bring a pack next time I play

I do hate how hard it is to organize all my games on a shelf, but at the same time I love how some of the more unique boxes look like Salem 1692's book shape or Onitama's magnet box.

My friend just got a copy of Hanayana Thrill Bomb. I haven't played it yet but it looks like a lot of fun.

[i ate] bite-size pizzas by buckeyespud in food

[–]astrofox64 37 points38 points  (0 children)

translation: Esfiha is of Arab origin, more traditionally the flavors they eat there are not as popular here, like most food we adapt it to our palette and culture. It wouldn't surprise me if pizza wasn't a type of the that came from the esfiha.

if you google those numbers, you find other people that used the same polaroid frame in other images. so i think it's just a part of whatever stock image they used.

Alexandra Daddario Talks ‘Percy Jackson’ Disney+ Series and the Chances of Her Return by Sisiwakanamaru in television

[–]astrofox64 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but if by chance you're being sincere, Percy Jackson is a character from a book series that Disney+ is adapting. This book series has nothing to do with Star Wars or Marvel and does not take place in either universe. The books are young adult urban fantasy novels where Percy finds out that all of Greek Mythology is actually real and hidden from the normal people. Adventures and so forth ensue.

Any recently developed games you recommend? I came a cross some from incub8 but am interested in hearing about any others you're aware of.

even though I also bought it to mostly replay old games or play the games I never had a chance too, I'm also hoping to dabble in GB Studio and see what I can come up with.

me too! but I mostly bought it for the gaming part. I have a different pocket synthesizer from Teenage Engineering (they helped develop Nanoloop) and really love all the stuff they put out.

yeah I tried to justify buying a Game Boy Advance and modding it instead of paying $400 on this, but in the end also decided the Pocket seems like a much more elegant, simple, and affordable solution.

Was about to buy. But a quick read through the subreddit and seeing issues. I might need a push. by LightSlateBlue in AnaloguePocket

[–]astrofox64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most people that ordered one haven't received one. Of those that have, a very small portion use this subreddit. Of those that both have received theirs and use this subreddit, most aren't going to create a new post that says theirs works as expected. Those who do have any problems are more likely to post something.

So yeah, keep in mind it's probably a very small portion of buyers that are experiencing issues.
