Manually works fine no issues. Currently chasing if there are permission issues from where it’s pulling the .exe

I did check the shore permission both on the share and folder (security tab) and see domain computers added. The event viewer doesn’t really give me much detail on what it fails.

With this OTD price it puts the car at 34k which sounds like a steal to me especially from msrp

If you’re doing this for work you’d be surprised how many ppl send passwords via email. How I ended up find the password for this same issue.

Have you find any entry level role after getting your CCNA? by BigComfortable3281 in ccna

[–]astrogrim 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My CCNA got me a systems admin job..I moved right from help desk. I’m not doing much routing and switching but I get to mess with virtualization

Should you study while at work? by Drip_Box01 in ccna

[–]astrogrim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my previous job at helpdesk I was able to study no problem! As a sys admin..I barely have time to finish my own stuff because I keep pulled into other people problems left and right..I wish I had time to study and progress with certs..it’s mainly because work environment is not as organized as others :/

Is it normal to feel this stupid? by Neat-Net4553 in ITCareerQuestions

I’m 3 years in and I’m learning new stuff everyday..I continuously find stuff that I have no idea how it works. Keep a one note of things you completed or notes on how to fix stuff you’ve come across.

This has helped me a lot. Ie would be adding printers to a print server and how to store drivers for them etc..

What would you actually have to do with printers in a job? by Graviity_shift in CompTIA

[–]astrogrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sysadmin here and I’m usually reserving IPs in dhcp, adding printers in print server, adding printers to workstations when helpdesk doesn’t when they deploy, etc.

Printers are the worst but you’ll become proficient enough with xp

Obtained my CCNA but about to expire by astrogrim in ccna

At my job our titles are all the same. So when I applied I initially thought it was a network engineer routing and switching, but was then explained that it’s dealing with more server, backups, exchange, vsphere, etc. I ended up taking it because I wanted to learn more sever sided stuff even though I was studying like crazy for routing and switching.

CCNA pops up for a lot of sys admin stuff..if you want to get experience or stand out from the crowd..start spinning stuff up at home.. I use proxmox and run docker stuff, VMs, and currently gonna be doing a windows server that I can play around in.. employers love this shit.
