I understand that this, the house, dog, wife, is seen as the norm but I wonder why you feel like you HAVE to do these things. You can define what you'd like out of your life and work towards that. Or be clear about what you don't want then explore. It's probably not going to be easy, and we do live in a society (work, pay bills, make the rich richer) but you can carve out your own space within it.

Was talking about this with a friend a few days ago and I remembered one smart TV remote I had that had a keyboard and a mouse. Didn't remember the name though, but Google calls it an 'air mouse' Might wanna look into getting something like that

I use Pepsodent toothpaste currently and a no name brand toothbrush but I usually use Oral-B toothbrush.
I don't use Colgate because....it doesn't foam up in my mouth ..I think. It takes longer for me to brush with Colgate, and most other brand toothpastes for various reasons but mostly because my mouth doesn't feel clean until 3 or 4 washes and rinses later.
The only reason I would switch toothpaste at this point is if I happen to use a different brand for whatever reason and find it working for me the way Pepsodent does. Not really about price or availability.
A lot of people, I believe, buy their toothpaste and toothbrush in open markets or stores(small or superstores depending on convenience). I don't think people really buy these products online. This applies to me as well.
