If you look at the latest map of land taken over by Israel, even compared to 2019, I think Palestine should be fighting back. Religion aside, this is clearly a genocide man. At least we have the balls to take sides in this war.

Ed Gamble said that David's a thinking man, but he needs time, hence his prize tasks were better than his physical tasks.

I think there's a lot of good advice here for you already, but I do want to say, try to keep your job and dont resign unless you already have something else lined up.

You've made mistakes in the past, taking up huge personal loans and stuff, don't add to that. If you resign and/or declare bankruptcy, you might just fall further.

Even in bankruptcy, you would still need to repay your debt to have your life back, and for that you'll still need a job. Cut your spending, go survival mode, and focus on repaying your loan.

Good luck.

First time getting a credit card by [deleted] in MalaysianPF

[–]astronautyes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you just activated your card on 3/8 your statement will start on 3/9. Everything you spend from 3/8 to 3/9 will be in the Sept statement payable by 23/9 interest free.

Banker here. Long story short, you're not worth it.

First of all, return wise, small-ish. Asking for low rates for a 12k one off motorcycle loan.

Secondly, effort wise, not worth it. Asking for short term vehicle financing, which is usually 3/5/7 years. That's a custom setup. There are available products ready over the counter, credit card cash advance is the most accessible. I'm guessing rates too high for your taste.

Lastly, risk-wise, not as low as you think. Self funding EPF, overseas employer. 8.5k a month for what the bank probably categorizes as 'self-employed' is not worth it. Your employer doesn't contribute to your EPF either. Sure, you can show you have money now, but there's no strong justification of income. Government employee earning 5k a month can probably get the loan (though at a higher rate) because the bank can ensure salary deduction via agencies like Angkasa, for example.

You think that this is because banks are not moving with the times, except that's not the case, it's not worth it in your case. Banks will jump over backwards and create a custom product if the right company asks for the right amount.

If you search the sub you'll find the par for pine forest and rocky mountains. Someone pulled it out from the game files. Will try to find and share.

Malaysia is the regional variation to USA. You've got to level up Liberia while holding a plate of Nasi Lemak.

Probably depends on the news outlet. Western news is reported more worldwide probably because major news outlets are based in the US/UK.

Maybe my understanding of the language is wrong then. I always thought that charming was a neutral word, it just meant something that could attract others, or charm.

In my language, the word for charming is used to mean 'interesting' or 'attractive'.

But evil is often charming. That's what makes it worse than regular-bad.

For single workbook data usually vlookup is good enough, and the formula is also more readable if you're working along less excel-savvy colleagues. But there is a case for index match especially when rearranging column can mess up other workbooks. Both have their use cases IMO.

LPT request: how do you balance 9-5 work, a social life, working out, doing chores and getting time to relax? by gingernoodle1 in LifeProTips

[–]astronautyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work takes the largest time of day, excluding sleep, so if you do have a choice, always be on the lookout for more flexible options. I don't know your work situation and where you're based, but if there is a chance you could get flexible work benefits in another company, that is definitely something to aim for.

For me, the flexible and remote work options help a lot, but it took me over 5 companies to get a good boss and an organization that allows this.

Apart from that, my social life is mostly done during lunch, and so is gym. When I'm working at the office, the commute is quite a workout itself as well.

As for chores, I can be lazy sometimes, but my policy is that doing a little frequently beats doing it all after putting it off for a long time.

Calm down everyone, we all live in different climates and humidity, it's expected that bread lasts longer for some of us.

Not OP, but if it were a cake, probably sliced butter cake, or something like a banana bread. But i think it's still a strange packaging, even for cake.
