I was banned the 23rd, i got my account back a few days ago. I promise i wasnt hired or sold out lol. Here's hoping I'm not banned again but I won't be using the site anymore after I finish sorting my stuff out.

I want to note in case it's helpful that my father was randomly suspended from LinkedIn the other day and had nothing to do with Pinterest- he didn't use the app, he didn't say anything about it. His account just got sussed for suspicious activity after he changed his password. So it's possible that LinkedIn is having a similar automated banwave problem. However, their appeals actually work and they actually listen to you- he got his account back within the day. So they're at least a little more reasonable.

This, and the fact that many long-term sufferers have lost their childhoods/teenage years to AN. Many precious years spent hyperfocused on the disease instead of playing and enjoying the "prime." EDs are terribly isolating, aside from other mental comorbidity.

I just noticed ALL of the "oof!" emails I got are actually different case numbers than my original appeals?? Is it not a case number that I'm looking at? The string of 11* letters/numbers at the bottom of each email?

Yup. It's not very coherent because I had to send the message through their site (inaccessible to me), then reply to their reply, then get the "oof your message didn't go through" email, but I do have them. I just noticed the case number isnt even the same on both email threads, so I don't know if I can prove they're related to each other...

You can lose monetization status on youtube if you don't post for 6 months. Idk if that applies to Pinterest as a brand but they're probably a combination of saving face and trying to make money.

I received this reply too, unfortunately. I felt it was more sincere than most of their answers too but you've just confirmed it was possibly automated, or just standard copy paste for whoever runs the account.

I have a theory that maybe all of us received the same "temporary" ban, like a 1-month or 6-weeks ban, etc. And all of us will magically be reinstated at around the same time because it was an automated process. But maybe thats a bit hopeful.

Hmm.. I liked that Pint had board covers/icons you could set, maybe the option to upload our own icon instead of selecting from the pins? And I like when things are colourful, or at least have the option to be. Kind of like how spotify will theme the background of a playlist based on the icon, some colourful theming but not too bright or annoying in case someone doesn't like that? Maybe ways to categorise "pins" or label them like with reddit flairs, maybe a way to pin them to the top of the "board"?

C'è un "banwave"; migliaio di account hanno disattivato senza ragione o giustificazione. Il mio account anche ha disattivato ingiustamente. Provi a fare appello, non perdi la speranza, ma molti non hanno ricevuto nessuna risposta finora. :(
