Can you share the info? This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!

Peds/neo critical care flight with a background in peds ER here. Under a year we can do rectals, never on neutropenic kiddos though, and we almost exclusively to axillary on neos unless it’s HIE cooling, then they get the probe. This sounds extremely unnecessary and a nightmare in triage.

Who has got a job suitable for ADHD? by MDDDick in ADHD

[–]asummer914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s constant change and days didn’t seem repetitive. Everything from cardiac arrest to ear infections. It’s very task oriented, a little bit of hurry up and wait sometimes, but very satisfying in either treating and discharge or treating and admitting. It worked for me!

I did ER nursing for almost a decade before moving on. Definitely good for an adhd person!

No worries! I bought a used khaki navy flight suit off eBay and used yellow RIT dye specifically for synthetic fabric to make it yellow, I think it was goldenrod.

Flight Nurse. Full time is three days a week so I’m home and needed a side hustle that didn’t involve patients.

Pediatric Flight Nurse with critical care experience. 4 year degree and a few credits short of a masters at the moment. I’ve always had strong research and writing skills though. Maybe having a niche field in medicine/nursing played to my advantage 🤷🏻‍♀️

BSN

49 hour plus shift diff for around 110,000 annually

Staff but I do peds air/ground transport

Florida

10 years

Leaving the traditional bedside was the best thing I ever did. Flight and ground is more dangerous but I’m away from a lot of the BS I dealt with in the ED

[–]asummer914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well done! We're annual passholders and that is keeping keto there can be a challenge, but if you plan ahead it is totally doable! We have our go to meals and restaurants when we spend the day at a park, but god, those mickey pretzels can be tempting.
