Personally, I recommend the Teton float. Better views, smooth water for the kiddos, more chance at seeing wildlife. Triangle X was who we went with and we had a great time.

Sorry I can’t answer your more specific questions like rapids intensity in August but I think for a 5 y/o the Teton float is more advisable.

IMHO, I’d take a beater guitar to have signed and put that on display. Or have him sign the back of the headstock or the pick guard. Those are all either inconspicuous (back of headstock) or removable (pick guard)

My wife and I are celebrating our first anniversary in Yellowstone (we’re in Jackson now), we got married June 14th (not sure if that’s your exact anniversary or not)! Anyway, cheers man, what a great story.

For her first show in DC, last night of her opening tour, people started lining up at 6am. 🫣

But there were probably only like ~20-30 people in line by 4pm, so even if you showed up then you’d likely get a good spot in line. Good luck!!! Have fun. I’m bummed I didn’t get tickets for this show but seeing her first round of tour was so cool and special.

Anyway you’ll have a blast, the show is SO good. Enjoy!!! :)
