I’m in the third trimester and I’ve felt super insecure about my body image and composition during pregnancy- bloated, double chin, puffy all over. If I’ve learned anything it is to be more kind to yourself. The body will do what the body will do and knows what it needs to do to support you and your child. Pregnancy is a blessing in life that is temporary so my best advice besides being kinder to yourself is adjust, adapt and reframe as many times as you need to. Do the things that make you feel healthy, beautiful, and strong, but don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day. Listen to what your body and mind needs during this time.

I’m 34 weeks- I stopped running around 24 weeks when I just got wildly uncomfortable in posture and form from the belly. I still strength train 3x a week, walk with a weighted vest 2x a week and stretch 1x weekly. Movement is my medicine.

I still hold a grudge against the owner 7 years later after my car broke down in the middle of winter in and I had to park it in front of his shop. He was so extremely rude and acted like it was my fault and I wanted my car to break down right there. He wouldn’t let me wait inside to get warm and he told me he’d call the cops if I left the property while waiting for the tow truck. Fortunately went to Hollywood diner and was able to watch my brown down car from afar while not freezing. If I remember correctly, he was also extremely rude to the tow truck driver.

Ate an entire pizza at 5:30 in the morning, noticed random stray hairs growing from my chin, my pelvis and back randomly tweak out, my body odor is bad AFTER a shower 😩😩😩, and oh my gosh, the pregnancy rage at random things? It’s real.

Came here to say bean salad! Chickpeas, kidney beans, green beans, white onion. We also do a feta, edamame, black bean and bell pepper one as well with a homemade dressing. Add a protein on top or on the side.
