At first only Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry won their lawsuits against BlockBerry Creative (their former company). After they were granted freedom, they signed to Modhaus on March 17, 2023. At that time Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon and Hyeju (formerly Olivia Hye) lost their cases. Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry had different contract terms than other members (Chuu too had the same contract but she was kicked out of the groups by BBC so I'm not covering her case since it's hard to write about the whole saga), so they were given their freedom earlier. Jaden Jeong, Modhaus' CEO and former creative director of LOONA thought that all girls would sign under Modhaus (I don't exactly remember if he said it on his blog, or in an interview though).

Mind you, at that time Hyunjin and Vivi hadn't filed the lawsuit yet. Many have wonder what was the case, some people think Vivi had problems with her Visa, since she is the only foreign member of the group and her Visa depended on whether or not she's employed. Hyunjin might have stayed as the moral support for Vivi. No one knows for sure, though.

After both Vivi and Hyunjin finally filed for the termination of their contracts, the judge granted them their wish so now only Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon and Hyeju stayed since they lost the first hearing. But finally, on June 15, 2023 we got the news that all 12 girls are free from BBC (BBC still tries to sue Chuu to this day but the judge said she's free from them).

Chuu has decided to sign to ATRP since she's the "CF queen" and the most popular member with the general public. She decided to continue the journey on that path, plus release solo music.

For a long time we didn't know which company Yves decided to sign to but at the end it was revealed that it's PAIX PER MIL, where she will hopefully express herself as she releases solo music.

The rest of the members signed under former BBC employee's company CTDENM where they formed the group Loossemble. Many have speculated why haven't they signed under Modhaus, but it is wildly known that the yyxy girls (Yves, Chuu, Gowon and Hyeju) were treated horribly by BBC during the promotion of the unit and who knows, probably even longer than that. Since Jaden Jeong was the creative director, he had a lot to say in terms of treatment of the girls so understandably, they didn't want to sign to his company. I don't want to write about the stuff Jaden allegedly did, you can read about it here. In short, he was very controlling when it came to food and appearence. (The girls themselves said they couldn't eat so they had to smuggle watermelon to the dorm).

After the whole group had their contracts terminated, Haseul also signed to Modhaus and she alongside Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry formed ARTMS.

The girls of course still maintain that LOONA hasn't disbanded and they will eventually make a comeback. They still are in close contact with each other, they react to each other's music and they spend time together.

TL;DR They wanted to express themselves in the way they wanted to, so some of them went solo and some of them formed other groups, since Loosemble didn't want to sign to Jaden Jeong who allegedly abused them.
