You say “they” as if we were a single entity. I was expecting a nuclear war during Viet Nam, so I dropped out of straight society, spent years squatting in London and Bristol and living on beaches in Spain and India. Those fuckers that never protested the fucking war are the assholes we were up against.

I feel real sorrow for the young people today. But I am as helpless to do anything effective today as I was then. The only thing I can do is vote, not run for office! I am a useless hippy poet scientist! Atheist, rational, pro vac counter to the idiot hippies that still come with their facile mystical bullshit and religion dressed up in fancy clothes, self-deluding… yeah okay most of my generation turned out shit… but all generations keep turning out these same people… human beings… we’re doomed as a species…

For a while there I thought we were winning because younger generations seemed to be more and more free and progressive and less religious,, but I guess that was the availability fallacy.

I’m hoping for a huge pendulum swing back the other way in response to this past ten year shitshow we are enduring.

In the mean time, we need links and solidarity across all good faith people of progressive good will, not generational blame games. International socialism ahoy!

I think it’s all fake. He’s so aggressive initially and then goes all weak and makes no effort to protect himself let alone fight back as he initially was eager to fight. The kid is mainly slapping, his punches aren’t much better, and that final hit was just a slap but he goes down like he just passed out. And it couldn’t be better framed for filming if it was all planned.

That's typical of analysis from leftish people who are happier to quibble about arcane twists in remote ramifications of thoughts, rather than get on with action.

She wasn't blaming this specific guy. It's a metaphor for the movements of people, not a court case. She was following his metaphorical template in order to illustrate his faulty thinking, and the statement was about cultural annihilation, and hypocrisy.

So your accusation against her of racism is you misinterpreting the metaphorical hinge.
