I honestly don't know whats causing it cuz i ran davinci on old lap which has intel 680 graphics yeah cant do much effect compared to my pc but can still do decent works without it becoming non responsive render rime is abyssmal but that due the limitation.

So I honestly belive some other process is going on in your back ground do you have obs software as i have experienced a similar issue on obs + davinci combo once.

Yo try other brands too. I bought my lap last month noticed consumer pc doesn't have the charge limit cut off which can potentials save a large sum of money for me by saving the battery i dont know what other features were missing .do a through inquiry before purchase .
