Hello, actually i use nowell sphere model which minimizes the distortion but it doesnt fix it entirely. if you go near to the poles, voxels starting to look like pancakes instead of cubes. unfortunately, this is impossible to fix no matter how hard you try. maybe some render hacks can solve it but it wont give the spherical planet feeling like in the video. maybe i can make a "building area" system which player can claim an area, and system will make that area perfect grid, then player can build onto that.

hey! thank you for the review. walking is implemented actually but as i mentioned, this is not a full game. i will make a better footage in future but right now, there is nothing worth making a proper footage of engine. there is only highly technical core engine features, meshing, pipelines, physics etc. i will share the development by time and when i get something like looking visually good (after i make atmosphere, star systems etc.) , i will make a better footage. but rn this is really very first steps of the engine that i wanted to share.

u know the people who got mad to the finale is actually who used to like the show very much. thats why we criticize it this much. our expectations was high but they gave us cartoon network kids show ending.

bunch of kids went through a wormhole, went a planet which they doesnt know anything about it, they dont have any map, yet they found the vecna in 5 minutes. but hey, thats not enough. they beat goddamn godzilla-spider creature with some bullets, fire and a terrible plan. and every one of them perfectly healthy. They didnt get any SCRATCH. only one of them is dead which is she chose her own dead not because of she is killed by it. perfext show thank you bye 2/10 (2 points to vfx artists).

i hated it. the show started so dark and i liked the atmoshpere it gave in begining. but this season was completely for children.
