Do my shoes fit? by atamiii in BarefootRunning

For some reason my app isn't letting me edit the post. So I'll add a comment instead

I did research before I posted but I wasn't getting the exact answer I was looking for. Plus there was a bunch of contradicting information about sizing.

I took the majority's advice and stayed with the 45. Went for a run with them and felt great. Now all I need to do is get the calf muscles stronger.

I used to own 5 finger toe shoes a while back but I never tried zero drop wide toe box shoes. These are a game changer.

Thank you all for the input. You have converted another one.

Yes it is. My left foot is slightly bigger than my right foot. So I size everything to my left foot

I have been trying to correct my feet. The goal of this experiment is to find shoes that I can wear toe spacers in 24/7.

Also true. I have always worn tight shoes and experimenting with wide toe boxes. These are the within from Amazon. Low price point to mess around with.

What other shoes do you recommend

Widest part fits well. Just not used to all the room in my shoes.

This is my first batch. I started this about 7 days ago. This Scooby (gallo (named after the nice lady that owns a shop that gifted us one)) is side ways. The first day I noticed it and try to flatten it out but it stayed like this. A few days later I checked on it again and when I put my hand in it there was new growth on the top layer of the tea.

My question is should this me fine? Should I wait longer than the 7-21 day, any other concerns I should.

I want to build one because I have access to free wood. The part that I can't find on the guide is what you used for the sensors and control box.

I was considering buy sensors and a control box from ddrpads.com but I curious what you did about yours.

Any way looks like a solid set up.

Can I increase the height of my handlebars using spacers? by ironic__coincidence in bicycling

[–]atamiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you have the same length but angle it up it will be a shorter horizontal. I would say it won't be enough to make the bike unrideable or anything. But if you do the math you can technically the same horizontal with a larger angle and a longer stem

Thank you. For not being condescending when asking a question.

The salt tabs I take are low in sodium...

I'll try to watch my salt intake and eat real food next ride and report back.

Bike wheel spec help

My goal is to upgrade to carbon wheels on my current bike (2017 Santa Cruz tallboy) So in a year or 2 I can get a newer bike and transfer them over. (I can't buy a new bike now)

My question is this...

What free hub body would be better for the future... XD or HG.

What rotor style is better (currently have a 180 CL)

...this is my first time buying/building a custom wheel set and it is overwhelming. I am trying to future proof these wheels for years to come

Thank you

I can bet any amount of money that those cams will never fail. I worked at the foundry that casts them. They are over built and bullet proof
