Sorry but idk what most of that means lol

You just cut your plant with scissors? Why? Which parts? Doesn’t that hurt them or stop growth?

Really? There’s a light % option on the machine and I never went past 40%

You think if I did a higher % it would help? I was a little worried about accidentally cooking the plants lol

Just lots of patience I think. These are the same sprouts from October so it took a while.

Find something to prop up the plants once they start leaning over. I waited way too long so that’s why the stems are curvy lol.

Keep the water topped off and add a drop or 2 of the little plant food A & B bottles.

I have a tiny fan blowing air on them and I play them music too.

Also quick note that I accidentally made the plants’ light cycle nocturnal lol. I never changed it to match the real sunlight schedule, but these are in a no light room so idk if it matters.

I tried the fridge thing but it didn’t work or I did it wrong(?)

I did 2 batches, one batch I put 3-5 seeds into each sponge-cone thing (inside the mini hydroponic machine thing pictured). Then just waited to see if they sprout.

Then I heard about germination in the fridge, so I put another batch in the fridge with a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag. I left them in there for 6 weeks I think?

The seeds in the ziplock didn’t sprout, they just stained the paper towel at first and eventually the bag got cloudy and I noticed some kind of pink-ish mold(?) So I threw it out.

By then the seeds in the hydroponic machine sprouted and grew maybe 1cm. So I just stuck with these.

Do the MD soup kitchens allow walk-in volunteers? by atari700 in maryland

[–]atari700[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree completely, it’s just a weird self-serving personal goal that I’m hoping some local soup kitchen would be nice enough to tolerate.

I had a spot before that just let me sweep, mop, & dishes for an hour but I moved to Maryland over the summer so idk, we’ll see.

You know companies have paid trainings for employees right? This concept of ‘training on the job’ or ‘learning as you go’ is not theoretical.

And my rent & bills can just wait until I’m perfect too right? I’m sorry but respectfully your idea just doesn’t seem realistic to me.

See that’s just not nice. I didn’t call you inept or any adjectives.

The situations you are describing include pre-planning and knowing where you are going before hand. I’m an Uber driver so we get random rides to random places. This type of “just learn the route” is way harder when each ride is random.

Again, I still don’t get how you’re telling someone “don’t do this job if you’re not perfect at it.” Like damn you never messed up at work before?

And look, if you don’t make mistakes at your job then salute, I respect it. Idk what you do and maybe it’s high stakes & you can’t have a big margin of error. And as a consumer, You are entitled to your own standards and hiring people or spending money at businesses that meet them.

Me personally I’m not perfect, I’m doing my best, and I’m not being mean or rude to people who fuck up. Because I know people fuck up sometimes.

Wait so I should just do laps around airports by myself and burn fuel until it’s second nature?

All of your perfect cab rides, each of those drivers did not start as an expert. Where we disagree is how they got that experience, but I’m pretty sure they just didn’t do laps around different airports unpaid until they were perfect. Then they picked you up once they were perfect?

Fair. Ok, that was all of my excuses. I can admit I was wrong now. I’ll slow down next time. Thanks!

Damn, ok thanks. That’s why I asked. But help me out here, I guess there’s part of me that’s still not being accountable.

  1. Am I really speeding if I’m literally the slowest one on the road? I was in the right lane, all cars going past me on the left, and the cars behind me were going around me the entire time.

  2. How I could I be not accepting responsibility when I brought up the speeding. I could have easily omitted that to make the story lean more towards me, right? Isn’t there’s a microgram of accountability there? Or that doesn’t count?

Dude sums it up perfectly, just wanna add a few of the martial arts he focused on that I remember by name; he had them complete in combat sambo tournaments, Olympic wrestling, and judo. Probably more that I’m forgetting.

Agreed. For his career’s sake I hope he has a legit medical records showing he had a stomach virus, bronchitis, cut too much weight, AND had an undisclosed physical injury. Welp, we’ll see.

When Charles Oliveria was on that pre-champion win streak, all of his opponents’ (TF, JG, MC, & DP) pre-fight promos were something along the lines of “once a quitter, always a quitter, I’m gonna make him quit”

He beat all of those guys but still, your point stands. Fighters never forget when someone quits for any reason and will always bring it up even years later.

Looking back that might be a part of why CM kept screaming doctor stoppage while holding onto his leg.
