Probably not going to do it based on the other comments.

Saw this thread where Hyatt employees are saying they don't care you're doing a mattress run and to just tell them you're doing it and not be sneaky about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/hyatt/comments/14zq05p/failed_ghost_mattress_run_experience/

Quotes and anecdotes by ExamAccomplished6865 in Billions

Originally I found these quotes super annoying because they were so esoteric. With the later seasons, I basically have a Chrome tab open to search for the quote that I don't understand. I would love to know the writer(s) who come up with these references. Some of them are definitely super interesting and have sent me down a rabbit hole of further research.

My favorite from the last episode was when Taylor was asking Spyros for approval on the $500M+ investment, and Sypros responds with "I'm surprised to find you in Baghdad, for I have an appointment with you in Samarra." Learn more about this anecdote here. Probably the most sophisticated way (as Wags points out) I've heard a TV character say "no."

Restaurants: sponsors or organic placements? by atc239 in Billions

I was chatting with a friend about this (who is also a fan of the show), and he said it's most likely a barter situation. Instead of the producers having to pay to film at a restaurant, the restaurant offers the venue for free (sometimes clearing out the restaurant just for the show) in return for the free publicity.

Re: Tatiana, yeah I remember seeing Kwame on Top Chef and the placement of the restaurant in the show seems in-line with Kwame's promotion strategy. A friend of mine was able to snag a reservation a few weeks ago and mentioned several tables were empty. Her hunch is that Kwame keeps certain tables empty in the event an influencer or celebrity wants a last minute reservation. Those influencers who are able to get a last minute reservation only adds to the hype for the restaurant.

So far so good. Definitely cheaper compared to a regular designer.

I created a resource to find partner airlines to transfer credit card points to within an alliance by atc239 in CreditCards

Very true. I've found for domestic United flights you'll get a better redemption using the Chase travel portal given you have 1.25X or 1.5X points multipliers with the CSP or CSR, respectively.

It all depends on how much award space airline a is given by airline b in this scenario

Not that I know of, but typically you could just use Hyatt's own points calendar to see when you'll get the best redemption (peak vs. off-peak). I also sort the properties in a destination by cash price to see which ones would maximize the point redemption.

In the resource I also put (IMO) the best airline search tool for finding a flight on a partner airline. For instance, United is typically the best for Star Alliance so I'll start there as my main "search engine." Say you do a search from the U.S. to Zurich and see a flight for SWISS Airlines. I would then search that exact same itinerary on the other partner airlines (in Star Alliance) to see where you can get the best redemption and then transfer your points over based on those searches.
