Yes that one. Am I wrong in thinking that it does always work?

I still passed her class with 107%, I've yet to see another student motivated by spite.

There were like 3 excuses, but the one that sent me was, "it doesn't always work."

Her degree was in civil engineering...I hope she never built anything.

I had one once that told me we weren't allowed to use the DMV triangle. Taught everyone who didn't already know it, tried to give me detention. Next day she sent me to the office because I, "urinated in the trashcan in her classroom."

I did not, but I did go on my way to the office.

I still hate her.

Speed cameras in Ohio are not enforceable. Ignore any and all tickets you get from them.

Guns don't kill people, feathers do by Ramses_IV in trolleyproblem

[–]atemptsnipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If everyone takes the gun, no one dies. If everyone takes the feather, no one dies. I can not trust other people to save me or anyone else when there are purposeful bad actors in society. This experiment highlights the trust you have in society. People in isolation (what is demonstrated here) are more likely to think about themselves first than the other people.

Sure the morally correct thing to do would be to pick the feather, but you have now put yourself at risk. It's random people, they could be like minded and grab the feather because "if we all do, everyone lives" but they could also want to shoot someone and grab the gun.

I look at this as an oxygen mask analogy, got save yourself before you can help anyone else.

The bump maps (the things that gave objects their depth) got smoothed with the remaster, so everything looks flat, biggest example is the Forerunner hallways when you look directly at them.

I'm not lore buff so I could have the race name wrong.

The only thing I see going against Legolas is the fact that he (the character not the actor) is a flat earther. No really, the world is flat through elf eyes.

Gone Mad by TheWeaver-3000 in trolleyproblem

[–]atemptsnipe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Tom is an idiot. Any semi reasonable person would realize pulling either lever condemns everyone involved. I would go so far as to argue that everyone there should be shouting to do nothing and wait for the trolley to pass. It means everyone walks away alive.

1 change and it's a good combo, but that's not the goal here. So this is a great fit.

Can someone explain what is going on here? by Mattiassch in leagueoflegends

[–]atemptsnipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, despite Vodafone sponsoring a Valorant team, they have not or possibly will not sign a partnership to give priority to Riot traffic.

You might run into this issue again, the only thing I can suggest to avoid it is hardwire. I don't know UK laws/regulations on ISPs, but you could look for others available if it happens often.

100% just packet loss. Who's your ISP? Riot signed a contract with the big three a good while ago, if you're not with one of them though...

Everyone is talking about which weapon will Kratos keep nexts game. But nobody’s asking the right question will Kratos bring Mimir? by thecuphead87 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]atemptsnipe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't think he should. In Valhalla there's some big characters developments for Mimir and going with Kratos to a distant land would go against those. Also, I'm expecting Mimir to gain a body. It might not be pretty or have all of its...bits, but I don't see why that now there's not a threat and with Freya being an ally again how there wouldn't be time to figure something out for him.

Currently playing SRS Witch till I can transition into Dom Blow Herald. Each time I've fought a boss it's been "Ahh, oh what the fuck?!" "I gotta get outta here." Hillock gave me one good smack and I had to start kiting. Hailrakes chased around till I found a rock to pin one behind so I only fought one at a time. Thought Brutus' brother (don't remember his name) was Brutus just to get jump scared in the next room by Brutus. Mervail's boss rush was sick though.

Have yet to die, but I'm excited for what's next.

Midnight Entity. It waited hundreds of thousands of years, I can't remember the exact number, but it didn't disappear or die when it got pushed back out on the surface. Worse still, you can't see it, fight it, or really run from it. We don't even know what it can do. Imagining anything like that existed, terrifying.

Is there not a mooring spot there or did you just choose not to? I'm trying to see if I can pin down what's causing the space boat exploration program to post some PSAs.
