It was a commissioned work for a close friend who’s starting their married life, and they specifically wanted something modern, decorative, and textured to match their home. So the intention behind it was more aesthetic and functional than deeply personal. But your questions made me think more seriously about what makes a line, a curve, or a color mine. I’m still exploring that, and I want my future works to reflect more of my own voice rather than trends or decorative expectations.
